I received notification last week that I was the grand prize winner of the Siduri Holographic Sweepstakes. For various reasons, I chose to decline the prize, which was as follows:

  • Microsoft Studio Time ($10,000)
  • Day of Microsoft Costs - Covid Officer, PPE Kit, PCR Tests, Snacks, Lunch ($2,000)
  • Hosting of Hologram for 2 months by 8th Wall ($200)
  • Rock Paper Reality Development of Hologram ($10,000)
  • Dinner in San Francisco for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday) ($500)
  • One (1) hotel room for three (3) nights’ lodging in San Francisco and Sonoma (standard room, double occupancy, at hotel of Sponsor’s choice with a 3-star rating or higher) ($1,500)
  • Two (2) round-trip coach airfare tickets to SFO from a major airport closest to Selected Entrant’s residence to an airport in or near SFO on an airline selected by Sponsor, in its sole discretion ($1,000)
  • Lunch (Saturday and Sunday) ($200)
  • Dinner in Sonoma (Saturday) ($300)
  • Vineyard & Educational Tour of Siduri ($300)
  • Helicopter Tour ($1,500)
  • Rental Car for 3 (3) days ($500)
 
Well, I see why you would have done so. Some aspects of the prize seem to be "overpriced." Microsoft studio time? Hmm. Even so, you know that your luck has not run out and there are other wins around the corner for you.
