Grand Prize, So I thought...

Back in October I played the Scratch, Bake, and win instant win game. I got 3 matching Reynolds parchmaent paper logos. Came up on the screen I had won a $1,000.00 Visa gift cards. These were the logos needed for the grand prize. Minutes later I received an email saying what I won and I should receive the papers in a few days. After not receiveing the papers I did a reply email. Two weeks later I received an email saying they are aware of the "situation" with the contest and are working to fix the problem. Didn't hear any thing for weeks, then I received a letter from them stating the judges declared me a first place winner, not a grand prize winner. I won an 11 piece pyrex bake set. BUT...for helping them in making future contest better, and for my time and patience they also gave me a 500.00 Visa gift Card. A thousand would be twice as nice , but I am very grateful for their generosity. In conclusion a win (even if it says it's a win) is not a win until the judges say so. Congrats. At least they still said you won something.... Have heard of others running across contest issues where it says they won and they got nothing.
 
awwww, sorry about the other win being gone, but congrats on a win that's almost as good!!!!
 
Same thing happened to me and I didn't think I was going to end up with anything. I was very grateful for the $500 Gift Card!

So glad you got one too!

Let's shoot for that $1000 elsewhere and really win!! :sunny:
 
:wave: CONGRATULATIONS on what you did actually get! Sorry to hear that there were problems with that sweep. I always get the SORRY---LOSER on instant wins.
