I am the Grand Prize winner in the Skinny Cow sweeps. Tickets to L.A. and chance to meet Jennifer Grey, worth $11,900. But I have to decline, because I have a big fear of flying. I had a bad experience once. So I am excited to have won my biggest win, but also bummed because I have to decline. :) :cry:


I got a call today from the represenative and they cannot offer me another prize or even part of the prize, it's the whole thing or nothing. So I declined, i'm really bummed :cry:

Bummer, perhaps this could be a chance of a lifetime, go to a doctor and they could help you with the flying issue. THis sounds like a great trip. Good luck to you and congrats on this fantastic win.

Congrats! Have you heard that have very strong drugs to take during flights now (you've GOT to go!). I love to hear when someone wins a nice trip!).

Congrats! That's great, but too bad. You know, fewer people die in airplane crashes than car wrecks - it's safer to fly than drive! May be a good time to try to get over it. Best of luck either way.

Oh wow. What a tremendous win. I used to be terrified of flying, now they can't keep me from taking off..

Geez,that is awesome and sad at the same time!!! Congrats,tho.Maybe they can offer you alternative transportation?

I called the number on the form and the Lady is out until Monday. I left her a message about maybe offering me an alternative prize or something. I will update everyone on Monday if she calls me. Thanks all for the congrats :)
 
:wave:Congrats. But see if they will let you drive there. I know how you feel I don't do planes, boats or trains, and have my doubts about the bus. hahahah. If I can't drive there I don't go. I used to fly all the time back in the 70's and 80's but no more.
