I loved this contest -- the Marriott Residence Inn at Times Square giveaway. You had 3 chances each day to pick a random number, and this old curmudgeonly-looking grandma (who looked JUST LIKE my own grandmother) would chide you for picking "an ugly number" or tell you "you suck at this". It put a smile on my face every day.
Thursday, it put an even bigger smile on my face. I won the Grand Prize -- a 3 night stay in the hotel over New Years weekend and $250 cash. We're going to use it next New Years (because we already had plans for this one). It's been more than 20 years since we've braved the madness of Times Square on New Years Eve, so it will be fun to do so again. Thank you granny!!
Now if I can just win tickets to a Broadway show... ;-)
