I had the best day today. My hubby let me sleep in, he took Kailey to school. Then at 9am. I went to Kaileys school, they were having a "mothers day tea party." Well I walk into the big room, there are all these tables, with kids pictures and stuff on them. I walked around and found kaileys. It had a table mat that had her feet prints on it, and a mothers day poem. There were two tea cups, a flower pen, a frame mothers day poem, and best of all, a beautiful framed picture of Kailey, wearing an old fashion dress, and umbrella. IT is so cute. So I sat down, and they had a guest speaker. ANd then after our kids came in, and we ate snacks, and drank tea out of our little tea cups. And then they got pictures of us with our kids. It was such a nice time. And they let us keep all the stuff. So I had my mothers day early, but it was the best!! :)

Happy Mother's Day, tiff!

And how utterly sweet!! I'm sure Kailey and all of the rest of the little guys and gals loved that
I love the little things things they make. I always tell the boys that besides having them as my children, the best Mommy's Day present is a homemade card from their heart. I always cry and they always say I'm a weirdo.

Tonight, we're going to a little carnival the school is putting on. The kids get their face painted, play games, and ride little rides while eating a bunch of junk. When we get back, we'll watch movies in bed until we all fall asleep. I love being surrounded by the 3 of them while we all sleep. Hubby gets the couch

Sunday, we're going to clean out the shed, work in the yard, and cook out if it doesn't rain.

Happy mother's day!

That sounds so sweet and adorable. My daughter brought me a homemade tea cup (laminated paper) with a real tea bag inside. She hid a little plant and won't let me see it until mother's day. No telling what my son is hiding, lol. He is pretty good at hiding things from me.

Enjoy the rest of your day and happy mothers day to all!

Happy Mother's Day to all! IF you still have your Mother make sure to tell them how much you love them!

My sister and I went in together and got my Step-Mom the most beautiful sweater! It is like a sea blue and is embroidered with all these beautiful birds and has lime green piping on it. It is SO pretty! We always buy her something nice, just like we would've Momma!

This is always a hard weekend for me. I will be taking some flowers up to Momma's grave. I have always bought a present to take, but someone always steals it...makes me so mad!

I guess my furniture counts as my Mother's Day gift...and Christmas, and my birthday, and my anniversary for the next 10 years ~lol!

My Mom is off having dinner with her brother and one of her sisters (whom she rarely sees). As they all get further into their 80's every get together is fraught with the awareness that it may be their last....

:sunny: Happy Mother's Day to everyone who is a Mom to others regardless of whether they are their own or someone else's. I will be missing my own mom but will be taking my elderly neighbor lady out for brunch.
