First time I had ever tried a voting style contest, and I won a prize, and it was from here at SA!!!
I want to sincerely thank ALL who voted for me, this proves (like our last winner of the George Strait contest) that our vote request area of the forums CAN work for you! :sunny:

I won 7th place (out of a possible 10), a sterling silver hershey sweepstakes's Kiss pendant from GemsAround on Facebook! (ARV $99.99).

While the grand prize was .50ct diamond and 14k I am blessed to have won and Happy Valentine's Day to me!

Since you mentioned it...
I think the key is to work together here in the voting requests section...and it helps to vote even when we don't have a request thread, if possible. And I think it is possible quite often.
It helps keep some camaraderie amongst SA members.
