HGTV win received

I received my Krups XP 5220 Espresso / Cappuccino machine today. Well, actually it must have come yesterday while we were all napping. It was sitting at the basement door this morning. This was from the HGTV House Hunters "You Know You Want to Watch" game. I received the notification email 10/6 and received the prize yesterday -- I think that is pretty good turn around time! Thanks to SA for posting this sweep and thanks to the Lord who abundantly supplies more than I could ever ask or think.

(So, if you read this far -- the reason we were napping is that we had been up with our sick beagle for the two nights previous. We took her to the vet Friday morning and admitted her to their "hospital" care for the weekend. If she doesn't improve, we will probably be saying goodbye to her on Monday. OK, so now I am crying again.)

Congratulations on your win and praying your little doggy is fine. They become like one of the family and it is so hard. Hopefully she will be alright. God knows best even when sometimes we don't understand.
 
Our beagle has recovered and actually seems better than she has been in years. We picked her up last Sunday afternoon, had her on a bland diet for a few days and started her back on dog food today. She is no longer on the meds she used to be on, lost five pounds, and isn't coughing. These are all good changes. We are leaving on vacation tomorrow and dh isn't handling leaving her too well. (And no, she can't come with us. But we do have a dog sitter next door, our daughter.) Thanks for your prayers. God even cares about the little things.
