Clogging up the new IW's...just like the magazines..if they plan on keeping this up can Amazon have it's own category??

I know, it's getting annoying. And not only don't I trust these since anyone can run one, but even if I wanted to try the Twitter limit stops me.

Amazon IW's - looks like are now a giveaway platform - promos say: "Amazon is not a sponsor of this promotion"

There is also a link to: "Run Your Own Giveaway"

I also can't stand these Amazon give aways. I actually would enter some of them although some of the prizes are not that desireable except they want control of your twitter and facebook accounts to post what they want. They must be kidding.

I have found some "sponsors" are putting up such a high number for the winner ( ex: 200,000th entry ) .. and they actually have under 2500 followers. I've seen one which posted it's past giveaways through this Amazon app and it says sweeps expired - not prize awarded.. so I think there are some who are playing games to get followers knowing they will not have to give away a prize. To be fair, there are those who give away their prize at a low number such as 200 or 1200.

That's where we as sweepers can help each other out - by noting the restrictions in the comments - but I agree, sneaky & underhanded! I wonder if Amazon "polices" these promos or just offers the platform?
