UPS just dropped off an affidavit that said: You have been selected as the potential Grand Prize Winner in the HONEYBAKED HAM "HAM FOR THE HOLIDAYS" Sweepstakes, subject to verification.

If you are verified as the winner, you will have won the prize package: (1) Round Trip package for (4) people to anywhere within the Continental United States (includes 4 days/3 nights hotel, $500 cash and a HoneyBaked Ham Christmas dinner in the form of a gift certificate.) OR a $2,850 cash alternative

As much as I love vacationing (and HoneyBaked Hams!)...I think I'm going with the cash alternative. I'm shaking because I'm so excited.

Congrats Sweepy!

Before making the decision to go with the cash, I'd see what the limits are on the vacation cost.

But it's a great decision to have to make!
 
I was hoping for that WIN ... Bummer..
But CONGRATS to you... I agree I would look into trip before opting out for cash , Just my thought..

I would go with the $ as well. :sunny:

With the way things are going economically these days, money to pay down bills is much better than a trip in the long run.
