This is not a sweeps win (I have had zero luck with those all year), but I do love the Kentucky Derby. Had the exacta on Mine that Bird and #16. Yay! Now, if I had only bet a little bit more.....
But, I won $1000 on that little bet--and all because my husband works for the Lab of Ornithology.....
We had been to the Derby each year until my daughter was born, and we decided to use that winning to fund our trip to the Derby next year. Yay!
