God is so good! U of M will be playing at the Peach Bowl this year and I get to GO, as I live 5 miles from Ann Arbor!!!! Grand prize #4 has a maximum retail value not to exceed $2,000, and includes:
Round trip coach class airfare for two (winner and winner designated guest, age 21 or older) from the gateway airport nearest to the winner's residence as designated by Sponsor in its sole discretion to the nearest major airport servicing the Atlanta, GA metro area. Actual departure date, times and airline based upon availability and will be solely determined by Sponsor;
Sponsor reserves the right to award a $150 travel stipend in lieu of airfare, if winner resides within 200 miles of Atlanta, GA.
Two -nights standard hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), at a standard hotel as solely designated by Sponsor in the Atlanta, GA metro area, based upon availability;

Okay, I really don't want to be a Debbie Downer because I won the trip to the Championship Game but have you noticed in the official rules and all the documentation they sent us, there is not mention of actual tickets to the game. I emailed Marcia at hosting to site to confirm that we actually get tickets to the game. Seems silly to fly you there and put you up and not include tickets but I have seen stranger things in sweeps. Here is what the rules actually say, what says everyone?

All other costs and expenses related to prize
acceptance, redemption and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of winner and guest,
including but not limited to ground transportation, airport transfers, parking, travel or departure taxes, baggage check
fees, airline seat assignment fees, hotel resort fees, meals, gratuities, tickets to any events in the destination city, any
incidental expenses, and all applicable taxes

That is so funny that you say that because I automatically assumed there would be tickets involved namely because of the title of the contest "Hooters College Football Sweepstakes", right? I was just as surprised as you, I did not want to look a gift horse in the mouth or seem ungrateful, BUT I did find it odd that no tickets were included. So, my guy and I will go to Atlanta, GA and go to the Peach Bowl on the graciousness of Hooters and have a great time! Have fun at your Championship game!

I just got off phone with the sweeps company, she said they are trying to convince Hooter's to provide tickets to the games. Have you actually bought your tickets to the game already? I just looked at website for Championship game and the lousy seats are selling for a minimum of $1700 a piece and the good seats are more like 2500-4000 a piece, crazy prices. I like my college football but NOT that much to pay those prices. Bit disappointing!

WOW, that is crazy! No, we have not purchased them YET, we were going to wait until we got there. Peach Bowl ticket prices are going for $160.00 each, which is really reasonable for a post season bowl game. You are going to the "High Roller" game, that's why it's so much $. We are from the Ann Arbor area and my bf is a UofM grad and I am a MSU fan HA! so that's interesting! Thanks for reaching out to the sweeps company, hopefully it will all work out!

Did you get your game tickets? Hooters set me up with tickets to my bowl game, just was wondering if you got your championship game tickets.

travelfiend started a thread on it;

An interesting update to a previous post. At least 2 members here won trips in this contest to either a Bowl game or in my case the championship game. Small hiccup was that all 7 trips included in the sweepstakes included airfare, hotel BUT NOT ACTUAL tickets to the game.

I just got called last Friday to book the details of my trip and the nice gentleman said the sponsor, Hooters, had arranged to get 2 tickets to the games for everyone. Kudos to Hooters for doing this.

So I am booked and going to the college Championship at Levi Stadium on January 7th. Will be taking my brother with and should be a blast.

Sweep on Sweepsters!

Yes, talked with a guy from sweeps company last Friday night and airfare, hotel is booked and I should get tickets via the CFB playoff, few days before the game. Probably little bit different than your Bowl tickets because you know who is playing in your Bowl game and we won't know that for awhile for the Championship game.
