Horror movies anyone?

I just wanted to say I feel so close to all of you now. bunch of weirdos. :crazytongue:

I know! Isn't it great

Oh, and the Screamer, I was ready to kill her myself to get her to shut up!
:booty"

Ugh. It's like, accept the fact that you're doomed already and STFU! I hated the ending as well. To have made it that far...it just didn't seem right.

I'm watching something called Salo, or the 120 days of Sodom, which is one of the most twisted, sick movies I have ever seen. I can't decide if it's a horror, or an X rated.

I gotta get to downloading!

Supermasochist is a documentary about the life of Bob Flanagan-the guy actually dies on screen, then his GF cuts the letters SM into his corpse.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120126/
I was interested in this movie because Bob had cystic fibrosis, and survived far longer than most people with this disease. Apparently having the crap beaten out of you and driving nails through your ya-yas is good for CF?

And apparently so is inserting a large metal ball into your rectum :hiding:
Hope they show a close-up of the carving! Nothing says love like all of the above

I've downloaded this one. I'm hoping to check it out within the next couple of days.

I dont know if you could call it a horror movie. I think its supposed to be but its just so... funny. omg! I love stupid movies. I'm watching
The Machine Girl.. It's . I'm not sure how to describe it. Its one of those movies that most people would shut off in the first five minutes but for me its like a train wreck. I cant look away. I'm loving it. It is dubbed in English which sucks. The subtitles would make it so much better I'm sure.

I dont know if I will be able to find it to buy but If I can im going to. Its got me lmao!. darkislandcs if you are reading this you have got to check this movie out.

I like creepiness

What did ya'll think of "The Mist?"

I liked it. It was sad. well, more like wth? actually

A couple of movies that are good and gory are:

1) The Cottage. This is an English movie, starts off a tad slow, but gets really good.

2) Frontier(s). This is a foreign film with subtitles. (I usually hate subtitles, but this one was worth it) The storyline is pretty decent as well as being gory.

I watched some of frontier but couldnt really get into it. Maybe I will try again.

It's not for everybody. I thought the plot line was pretty decent for a gore movie. Try the cottage if you haven't watched it. It's almost funny at times. Starts off just a tad slow, but then gets into the gore and creepiness.

I've seen all but 3

Top 10 Most Disturbing Movies of All Time

I've been looking for a few of these :headbang:

Bunny-currently googling and trying to remember the name of one that I watched last year. It's about a man who lives in the backwoods of Oz who kidnaps women, forcing them to do horrible things to their own body in order to survive. Based on a true story too. I'll let ya know when I find it or remember the name of it

Its those poltergeist/demon/possession type movies that get to me too. Ex. The Omen, The Entity, The Exorcist, Amityville, etc.

Hey! That's me! :crazytongue:

I'll see if I can find it. I don't take your recommendations lightly you know.

As for my tastes in horror I'd have to say that the things that pass for 'horror' these days just don't do it for me. I like a good monster movie. Werewolves in particular. Good werewolf movies are hard to come by though. I've found a new love for John Carpenters version of The Thing recently. There's some good stuff coming out of Korea these days also. I really like one called The Host. It was well paced, had a good looking monster that didn't hide in the shadows and wasn't brainless, had some good laughs and likeable characters. I think I'd rather see a well put together movie that entertains me and wasn't really horrific than a badly produced shockfest. Things that I find truly horrifying are psychological torture, paranormal stuff....Miley Cyrus. Old movies like The Entity or the original Amityville Horror. Those are the things that kept me up for days, afraid to close my eyes.

I'm watching Catacombs right now. I'm about halfway through, and so far I give it about a C. A few gore moments here and there, but mostly it's a lot of running. I'm ready for something to happen!

I saw this movie last night. I had read a short story about vagina dentata before, I'm just surprised they made it into a movie.

I can't believe I haven't watched this one already. I don't even care about the "cheese" factor...I just want to see what it looks like

What are you waiting for. Even Tiff has watched it. ya gotta get with the program  I watched primal last night and It was soooo stupid. Dont even waste your time. One interesting thing though. The blonde chick at the beginning of the movie looks like her breast start on her stomach. Its really weird looking.

I know! Tiff's making me look bad :crazytongue: Hubby has no interest in watching it. I don't think it'll be as fun to watch without him, especially on the beans-n'-frank- eating scenes  I'm going to rent it this weekend anyway, along with a few other horrorfest movies.

I'm going to google the lady with weird breasts

While trying to find a trailer for Primal, I come across some free, full-length, horror movies on FEARnet.com I just watched "Diary of A Cannibal." A man offers himself up for human sacrifice to a female cannibal. It's quite the love story, really

There's quite a bit more free movies on there. None that I have heard but they seem OK to be free.

3mnkids1 - I tried to watch The Machine Girl but I couldn't get any sound. I tried it in Firefox and IE7 and nothing. :cussing: So instead I FINALLY watched Oldboy. Great twisted flick!

well crap. maybe you can try again some other time. It really shouldn't be missed  I will check out oldboy.

Uggghh! Was that thig real? That one tentacle was reaching for his nostrils. Bleeehh!

It was real. Poor guy had been eating take out for so long he wanted something fresh. BTW the ending with the snow and the mountains has to do with a Korean creation myth, kinda cool :sunny: Those old Gods are always messing around with their relatives :crazytongue:
