How open and honest are you?

Ok, here are some confessions...who would have guessed

I have a temper in RL and even online. If someone messes with me I will argue or fight back. BTW, I am scared of no man and will physically fight them if need be even if I get my a&& kicked.

I take things way too personally a lot of the time.

I can be very sarcastic.

I curse wayyy more in RL than online. (btw, hubby is a trucker but, that has nothing to do with it lol)

I hold a lot of hate for specific people and there is nothing that can change that.

I have trust issues, I don't trust anyone and I don't let people in my heart anymore.

My myspace layouts pretty much represent emotions, they fit me. I don't put up layouts "just because". BTW 1/2 of my friends list is family/Inlaws/Aquaintances who know me in RL so if you have me on myspace you know I am the same person on and off line.

I try to be more reserved and not share my feelings too much with people. I keep things bottled up. (On myspace I have "You don't know me, you just think you do"

My life is my kids, without them I wouldn't be here today.

I use to be a jewelry artisan for bead and crystals but, I sold all of my $500 in supplies last year for $75 or something like that because, I lost patience in working on jewelry that I hadn't sold in awhile.

I sell adult toys and products online. (Shocker? )

I will share more later, lol.

My comment was a generalization. It wasn't relating to anything in particluar. It had more to do with being in the "group think" which I'm not party to. In reality, I am who I am. I'm not concerned about what other people think of it, and I'm not concerned about what other people do in their lives.

As for outgoing, you're not going find many more outgoing than me! :crazytongue:

In my opinion, not being part of the "group", most of the time is something to be proud of and about. People who dare to NOT conform to various things, thoughts, and/or ideas are thought upon highly by me. I respect those who can think for themself!

And I agree. I'm not concerned about how people view me for the most part. There are times when you have to care but for the most part, I don't. I care about how my boys act when they are at school or away from me. How they behave and/or treat people at these ages(11 and 6) is a direct reflection of my hubby and I. Now, when the get older, they will know better, and I will deny all responsibility and accountability

I'm not concerned about what people do in their lives for the most part. I do believe, however, society has a collective responsibility to ensure that everyone is safe(physically and emotionally) and free from harm. For instance, if hubby and I saw someone being robbed, raped, a child being harmed, etc., I'd expect us to do what we could to help the victim. In this day in age, it's probably safer to just mind our own business I will admit, but I don't know if I could live with myself. But no, other than that I don't concerm myself with how other people choose to live and I sure as hell wouldn't want someone being concerned about how we live.

Miki, I swear I'll give you the blender if I win it!!! You don't have to kick my a$$ :booty"

I know what you mean about trust issues, on-line and IRL. Some psycho took a pic of my boys that I posted on a mommy board years ago and morphed it into porn. I'm sure you can imagine what that must have been like for me. You guys are the only ones to have seen a pic of my boys since then. The same psycho did something similar to my pic that included the boys. He also went as far as to pay for my personal info, call my house, and threaten to not only stomp me but blow me away. While hubby and psycho exchanged cuss words, I called the police in his state and found out I wasn't the only victim. All over because I was chatting with someone on his site(another mommy) that he didn't like.

IRL, well, that goes without saying. Sh!t happens and I've either had to get over it or let people rent space in my head. No thanks! I do, however, take proper precautions to make sure no one burns me a second time.

Oh, and I am currently working on cleaning up my gutter mouth...again. My 6 year old came home from kindergarten last year asking me what a dirty sanchez was. I took that as a lesson and have since then made a conscious effort to make myself more lady-like. Off and on  It's hard

The cops around here still kid me about my internet stalker. Thank goodness they were too drunk to make it to the house and stopped at McDonald's to ask directions...just remember folks, we're heavily armed and nervous, this is a bad neighborhood. Just last week there was a drug bust less than a mile away which netted 18 kilos of uncut cocaine. Knock on the wrong door in this neighborhood and you'll never be heard from again

That must have been horrible for you. I couldn't imagine. mess with me all ya want. mess with my kids and you are gonna have one crazy red head on your hands.

As for the potty mouth im being more careful as well. My youngest would run around saying jack ass when he was three. :nono: everytime we got in the car and I would slow down he would say it. It was kinda weird cuz he would say it with the same venom I did.

LOL!! 3mnkids1

My youngest had an "a$$" thing too. Saying it, trying to smell it, and walking around trying to smell the butts of others  To this day, he must see the poop he made before he'll flush. And he likes to smell everything!

I have a bad eff word problem. Stub my toe, "eff!" Get the electric bill, "eff!" It's raining out, "eff!" Now if only I could start saying the word "eff" instead!

I think that may be a boy thing...Travis used to walk around sniffing everything! He would say, "What's that mell like?"...he couldn't say beginning "s's" lol!

He also couldn't say h's or k's...when we went to McDonald's he wanted a damburger with no meat  When he wanted to go to my sister's he wanted to go to Darren's douse unstead of Karen's house...I miss that so much!!

yall are funny. What I want to understand is how they manage to pick up only the nasty stuff. around the same time as the whole jack a**thing we were watching unforgiven and my son walked into the room right at the moment that the owner of grilley's (sp) says" you gonna hump em! you gonna hump em a thousand times?" he said that for I know two months. omg!! talk about embarrassing.

My one son had an issue with the "TR" sound.

He would use the "F" sound instead of "TR"

When a pastor friend of mine came by one day, my son blurted out "Daddy got a new Truck!"

Except.... well, the Truck wasn't "truck" it was.... you can figure it out.

Being a gay male and my son saying "daddy got a new F---" ...

yeah, you can imagine the laughter and comments that came along with it. :error:

Of course, then Pastor Dan had to tell me about a story or two of his son and daughter stripping down and running threw the house naked when they were interviewing a young couple for assistant pastor.

Kids just embarrass you to death

Completelyme, the only time I am physical is if someone is with me :) I am not the type to start trouble or fights, I prefer not to fight with anyone. As for the man thing, I watched too many women get beat on so I have always stood up to men who thought they could "whip" me and get away with it. If you stand up to them they will normally back off and leave you alone since they know you won't run away.

I have to bite my tongue a lot but, when I finally let out my feelings I let them out, lol.

I was leaving kaileys school today. And I looked into her bookbag to see if they gave out any papers. To my surprise I found a really cute teddy bear. :cussing:
Ohhhh no I knew it wasn't kaileys. So I grabbed Kailey, and walked back to the teacher with it. I said Kailey were did this come from. She kept lying to me... I don't know. Then finally she fessed up. It was Kaitlyns. A little girl in her class. I get to the teacher.
And kaitlyn is sitting near the teacher. They both see the teddy bear, and I say, This is not kaileys. Kaitlyn runs and grabs and hugs the teddy bear. The teacher told me they were looking for it all day for show and tell.
I get kailey in the car, and had to ask her like 5 times why she took it. This is the 2nd time shes done this. She told me the bear was so pretty, she needed it. She said that Kaitlyn should have put the teddy bear in her book bag instead of out. HMMM
So we had this big talk about stealing, how its wrong and it adults did it they would go to jail. And how Kailey would feel if someone stole her teddy bear.
I hope she grows out of this. But the funny thing was. My mom, kailey, and I went to the store today. And we were in the car talking. I told my mom about it. And she said, Well you never stole anything I didn't know about right? Right? I busted out laughing, cause I was thinking how dumb I was as a teen, and that I did do stuff like that. Def not anymore though. But my mom was shocked. And I said, lets not talk about it. Kailey was in the back saying, "I hear you guys".

 I'm sure Kailey will grow out of it, sometimes kids take things they want not realizing
it is mean. When I was a teen I remember going to the 5 & 10 store with my friends and stealing makeup and
other things. Of course I grew out of it too, but back then they didn't have the security they
do today. Thank god, my teens have never thought of doing that stuff.

Gorgor- your story about the pastor reminded me of when my daughter was 4 yrs. old, and I had 2 of her little friends and their moms over, well all of a sudden my daughter takes off her clothes and starts running around.
I was so embarrassed. Well one of the mothers took her daughter and left and never let my daughter play
with her daughter again. She was a real uptight b-tch. Anyway my daughter never did that again.

The pastor has 4 kids, three boys and one girl. All are around my age and I've known them for their whole lives.
One time, pastor Dan had someone come to interview for an assitant pastor position. His sons decided to give a 'brown eye solute' at that moment.

Of course, Pastor Dan's wife could have crawled under a rock but the guy laughed and said that he and his brothers did MUCH WORSE....

he got the job

Tiff she will grow out of it. She is very young. She will learn that you cant just take what you want. My oldest boy took a little hot wheels car one time from the dentist office. We were going home and I saw it and asked where he got and he lied and said it was his. ok. :nono: He has hundreds of hot wheels and believe me I know each and every one. I buy them. I asked again and he said he took it from the office. I turned around and made him take it back in and apologize.

Oh what a lot of fun posts and a lot of fun people! I'm totally myself, no matter where I am (much to the chagrin of my fiance, who says "stop sharing so much!" tee hee)

I looooooooove sweeps and have entered them for a long, long time. I teach computers at our local technical college, am an author of two books here and two in Australia, have 3 kids, one honey-pie, 2 dogs and love life.

Cheers to all my new online friends in here. This looks like it will be a great place to hang out

Welcome queensef! You have just met some of the greatest people in the world...SA is my addiction and I consider these people my family! I am so glad you decided to join in with us! We do have a good time!!! Hope you make yourself at home!

 Hi Sharon (queensef) welcome to SA, this site is the greatest.

I looked at your website on the bottom of your post. You are a really amazing person.
How do you find the time to sweep while being a teacher, author, etc.
I am a stay at homer, and I can barely make it through my sweeps most days!
You sound like a very interesting and organized person!!

Hi Ping and Sweepsgal, thanks for the warm welcome!!!

Organized? me? hahaha my honey would crack up laughing ha No, I suppose I am to a certain extent, but I never think I get enough done each day haha My Australian publisher is waiting for me to complete an article, and some more stuff on my new book, and the college has me creating two new classes for the Fall, so that will be a huge amount of work (thankfully I don't teach during the summer, which is when I get caught up on all those things haha)

Thanks again, it looks like a wonderful place to talk about one of my FAVORITE things, sweeps! ha ((hugs))

Welcome Sharon. So glad you are enjoying your time here.

As for getting things done in the summer. If you start to spend time here, you may be rethinking that. These people just suck you right in! Especially Ping!

Welcome and have fun!
