Congrates on making it to another level! You are going to love the trip to NY. I lived in the city for awhile, then Brooklyn and Queens. Finally moved about 60 miles north and love the availability of doing "the city" without the craziness. I highly recommend to Top of the Rock instead of the Empires State Building. Just a nicer, less crowded city thing. Hit the Diamond District (47th btwn 5th and Ave of Americas). One street with nothing but diamond displays in the windows, oh so very sparkly and beautiful! There is also a really great Jewish Deli on 47th with amazing sandwiches! The boat cruises are great but remember it is chilly here, if your coming soon, you may wait on that one. Chinatown is alot of fun too but if your looking for the designer knockoffs that used to be so readily available on the streets, you now have to ask for "the back room" for those purses. Kind of sounds shady but if you want that fake Gucci (or Guzzi as we joke about here at my house), ask for the back room! Central Park is amazing to see as well, no matter what the season, it is truly a beautiful oasis in all the noise and I am a bit biased but I really think it is just a truly romantic place (I met my husband there). Keep us updated and if you have any questions, please feel free to email! Congrates again and have fun!
