I have a question about forms

There are some sweeps where the first page will have an "enter here" button, then actual entry form is on next page. The AAA/Febreeze one is an example. Even Classic Heartland. My question is do you have to start for the first page. For instance, if I were to save a sweep to my favorites, or in roboform pro, will it count since I'm just going straight to the form and bypassing the first "enter here" page? I hope this make sense. I don't want to be disqualified.

When clicking the links for sweeps on SA, many times they go to a page with the "enter here" page first, and I often wonder why the link doesn't take you straight to the entry form...this is why I ask my question...thanks!

I always save directly from the form itself. However, on the AAA ones, it will still automatically throw you back to the page with no form and the "enter" tab. On others, you may get an error message when it tries to bring up the saved form directly. That also means that you have to enter from the original entry page. An example of that would be the "Cliffs Notes" sweepstakes.

Otherwise, if Robo goes to the saved page and submits it with no problems then it's fine.

Personally, I read the rules, specifically where it says 'how to enter'.

Usually the rules say to access www.xyz.com - so that is where I start my entry process.

Sometimes you can skip past some of the intro stuff, and sometimes you can't. Take a look at the URL code for starters. If the pages are pretty generic, you can probably go straight to the later page. However, if you see an ID number (ID, SID, session ID, etc...) in the code, then you need to come in from the first page. Each time you come to the sweep, it is assigning a new session ID. You need to start at the beginning each time you enter in order for the sweep to process correctly. Another thing to consider - there are sweeps on SA that are placed here directly by the sponsor. When a sponsor adds their own sweep, we need to list the starting page they give us. Hope that helps!
