I LOST my Blue Diamond Win!!!

Had a couple wins the last few days:

Steamfresh meals for two
Pace
3M t-shirt
Weplay hat
$5 Chevron GC

Earlier today I won the Blue Diamond phone in sweep. I was so shocked to get a congratulatory notice I didn't provide the correct info. After the win I read the rules & was quite nauseated when it said "give name and phone number to claim prize; if you don't it will result in forfeiture of prize." I gave my name and address instead. They didn't provide a different phone number or conf# & I can't find any link to contact them. Pays to read the rules first I guess! If anybody has any suggestions I'm all ears.

They use the phone number to confirm your address, so prehaps it will come anyway. I think it means if you don't say *anything* when prompted, you forfit your prize. Blue Diamond Growers number is (800) 987-2329, they are the listed sponsor.
 
First--I can't believe you won that--it seems like a longshot, there are so few prizes! Congratulations on that!

Second-I hope that providing your address will be OK with them and that you'll receive your prize OK.

You would have entered your phone number before you could play so they would have your phone number!! Good Luck!!
 
man, what a bummer, sounds like something I would do. but hopefuly you will still be able to claim it. best of luck :cussing: :cussing:
 
The people at Blue Diamond probably will not know about the sweep. Remember, they hire a JA for that reason.

Look at the site, find the JA and send them a note. Give them all the info that you can give (time of when you won is VERY important).

Customer Service of companies do not have any info on contests and they RARELY are in the offices with Marketing or with JA.

Contact the JA first. If there is a problem, find the number to the HOME OFFICE of the company and contact MARKETING.

I think you should be okay, didn't you have to dial your phone number in first to play? They should have it. I won in early September, it took about 4 weeks to get it. Congrats on the win!
 
Hi there - hey the other thing is that when you first call in they make you enter your phone number before playing so they should already have it - really hope it works out for you! :wave:
