I won a Bic 4 color Pen today!

-----------------------------------------------------

Thanks sponsors...I hope everyone wins a pen, the rules make it seem very easy to win- YAY!

Two days ago, I quit sweepstaking. But, I realized I can't really afford to just sit around and not at least try to win *free* money. So, I'm back. Just to say my wins didn't equal motivation for me-strange huh...
Well, the bad part was that I deactivated my facebook, deleted my bookmarks, and twitter followings. Wish I hadn't now as I put it back as best I could...Only, the thought of going through all the facebook posts on here is very hard to do and will take like forever (literally!!!) Might not in fact....Anyhow, Next time I get too overwhelmed I'll just take a lot longer break. lol

Good Luck everyone!Keep sweeping.Thanks SA:)

WTG!!! Glad your back. Never give up. It just take patience. See that win gave you motivation. Congratulations & wishing you lots of wins!!!

Thanks!

I guess I fit in the class of the "lazy" sweepers that's mostly why I quit before. I'm sure there are lots of them. Sweeping does sound better than a 8-5 job though, if you can manage to win something that good!Haha

I do that sometimes..take a BREAK..cuz it gets overwhelming, and the days you don't win bring you down.So..stop for a bit, and then it's better...good luck to you, and don't get too busy with this...keep it a hobby!!

Life and family at times takes over. For a few years parents real sick, and finally both died. So really my sweeping has been up and down. Finding more time now, to enter. Sweeping fills a gap when you need something to do, and nice to find a few wins in email or mailbox.

doll38 - cleaning house {computer} is a good thing - and while it's a PITA putting things back, you'll discover what you *really* need to hang onto, and it will change up your timing!!!

Ways I deal with the frustration of a dry spell:

1} I get outside of my own head by helping others. Either by voting, answering questions, or just getting a little silly. :crazytongue:

2} I avoid the winners circle. It's not that I'm not happy for other members, it's just that I don't need the constant reminder that I'm not one of them - for now. :crazytongue:

3} I hard charge on sweeps, going through all the categories and getting a sense of satisfaction/accomplishment when I get all caught up.

4} I take a break from the computer, since it's gone from being fun to being a chore.

If you keep pushing yourself to enter and things don't change, you will most likely burn out and quit, whereas if you make a decision to take a break for a day or 2, you are still in control.

I *usually* find I return after my mini "vacation" that I'm refreshed and can see things more clearly, so the little things don't get to me, and I enjoy instead of dreading entering my sweeps. :sunny:

I enjoy reading your posts and thanks for the links to active sweeps. Do you have a list of them that you can share?

totsie - was that directed at me - my siggy?

I also post here: Referral and Vote Requests when I have a rfl link request, but they match my siggy

Also - any ask I have, is from an SA listing, or I let the SA editor know about it & she lists it!
