CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know you will enjoy it very much. Perhaps I am just too old and too old-fashioned, but, I do not understand anything but a book in my hands. I'm sure a Kindle is a great improvement over all the ink and paper used for books. Oops, I just let out that I might be concerned about the environment!

Congrats, Kindles are wonderful - you can order a book and have it seconds! I received one as a gift and had some doubts at first, but I was easily swayed.
I'm an old-fashioned book lover too, like vickiburton but I found that with a Kindle you can have the best of both worlds, and still enjoy special favorites in paper. I like that I don't accumulate as many books, along with other things.
