The good news is- I won a PS4. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use it yet. My prize came from the UK, and the power requirements are different from the US. I have been told that even if I get a converter, so I can plug it in, the games and blue rays that I buy here will not work on it. I wanted to share my experience, to let others know that if you win an electronics prize, you need to check to make sure it is from the same region in which you live before you open it. Once the box is unsealed, it is considered to be used, making it more difficult to trade or sell it.

Glad you won, sorry to hear that. Never knew there was a region problem on games. Thought that only applied to Movies. Here are more PS4 sweepstakes.

Wow, thanks for sharing your story. Ebay does have a category for "New/other" which is like "new but the box is not sealed." If you explain in the comments section that it has never been used but you accidentally opened the box, you might be able to get close to the same resell price - if you can find a buyer in the UK!
