I won Post Cereals Nintendo Switch but..

My daughter and her roomate recently both entered the same sweep not realizing it was one entry per physical address, and my daughter got an email saying she was DQ'd. (not this sweeps.) And I once won a prize from Heineken, not knowing I could only win one prize in 6 months, and my second prize just never came - no email, no nothing. So it can work either way. If I had to guess, I would think you will be getting your nintendo sweepstakes. A lot of people have a special email they just use for sweeping and its easy to get mixed up, but just try to stay within the rules so you don't miss out on good prizes in the future. And congrats on your win!

I won this in October and contacted PrizeLogic when I didn't receive my prize in the stated time. Did not get any good answers from them so I emailed Post directly and someone actually called the next day to help me out with my problem. Different situation, but the person at Post was so nice and helpful. If you don't receive your prize in the stated time I think I would contact Post then and see if they can check on it for you and if they caught the double entry maybe they will listen to your explanation. Hopefully you will get your win!

What did prize logic say to you?

Also did you get it Usps, FedEx, or ups?

I have been trying to win this but no luck yet. Can you tell me about what time of day it was you won? Thank you!

Hi, how and where did you sell yours. I have a techno LEGO I’ll like to sell. It’s a lot of work to put together with more than 1,500 pieces.

I would suggest you just wait and see... I would never post this in the first place... way too many jealous people that can see this and will turn it in to the sweepstakes police... just saying..

Or at least you can’t even see my real name on here lol.

That's strange. I DID receive a confirmation email after winning.

Congrats from Post®

Also, I would take whatever Amy advices and consider following it. She's been doing this a long time, and I trust her judgement.

Also, I sold it to a friend of my son. No having to list it.

Good Luck, and Congrats again!

I received that email too. But yeah I’m probably going to wait to contact them if I don’t get it soon. Thanks for the advice!

Good luck! Just to let you know, almost all sweepers have been disqualified for something, at one time or another. The most painful lesson I ever learned: I entered my daughter to win a cruise. She WON! Then the sponsors realized that she was not 21 years of age when she entered (she was about a week short of 21). However, she was 21 by the time the sweeps ended and they selected a winner. It did't matter, she was disqualified because she was not technically 21 when she entered. It was very disappointing but a valuable lesson learned.

Good luck and I hope everything works out ok!

I cannot imagine people getting that jealous over sweeps and turning someone in...come on people. Sweeping is for fun and it's much better in a supportive environment! If I do something and it ends up making me jealous and bitter, it's time to reevaluate whether it's worth my time to do it. There's too many jealous/bitter/angry people in the world already, let's not turn sweeps into that. Let's just keep it fun, supportive, informative, and not be mean!

***I am a high school teacher and I'm surrounded by high school kids that do mean and vindictive things to each other often. It's possible that it has made me a little more careful about not doing that to others.

ladyoflarkspur - the members here at SA/SP are not who we have to guard against - but whether there is a chance someone may try to take away your win by narcing to a sponsor isn't the main reason to keep quiet - I have seen rules where the winner will get DQ'ed if they blab before they are fully vetted & verified.

My rule of thumb? Wait until I have the prize in hand if it's a biggie JIC

ladyoflarkspur - oh man that IS rough! My lesson was only about a $50 loss!

I assume the sponsor had no issue w/you entering for her right? Years ago, ePrize [now HelloWorld] was asked about it, and they stated that as long as there was an actual person, with their own email addy, and the rules allowed it [wasn't limited to perhh] they were OK w/it.

Stilll no email from them yet. Just giving it some time. It’s only been a week. Still checking my email every second of the day though. Lol.

Thank you! I agree! I would have never thought someone would get mad and blab about me. Or I would at least hope not.

Oh no!!! I would have been so bummed out! I’m just trying to stay optimistic lol. It’s hard but my fingers are crossed.
