I'm new to the Instagram scene, I'm too old to actually use or need it for social media purposes so I've avoided signing up for it for years with assurances from my kids that parents on Insta are "cringe", but I finally decided to make an account solely for the purposes of sweeping, nothing else.

THANK YOU to the handful of generous and patient members here who posted in the forums that they were up for being tagged in any Insta sweeps. You are the ONLY reason that I have won since 99% of the time it's necessary to tag people to enter sweeps on Instagram, and since I only use my account for sweeping so I have no IRL friends there to tag. I genuinely hope that tagging me has helped you to win some things too!

In the one month since I started using I've won four prizes - a gift basket with various beauty & fashion items (that my teen stole from me, lol), two tickets to a local theatre for opening night of a new musical that my husband and I used to enjoy a date night, a gift box of lavender foot pads from Earth Therapeutics, and some delicious pecan butter.

Congrats! I lmainly use instagram for contests too, but I seem to have trouble finding & keeping "friends" to tag. I don't want to keep using my grandson & his girl all the time, so anyone that follows me, I instantly tag them! LOL

Congrats on your wins! Grew up before the 60's so I completely understand. I don't have a tok that tiks or chat that snaps or an app for everything. I get that sweeps are evolving that way and I am always willing to embrace change but it might take some time. I do have a gram that is instant though....:)
 
I just started sweeping as a hobby last week, and I looked down at insta. But tbh, there are better odds and the prizes are way cuter. I know I'm going to win some food prizes, so I can't wait to eat and share them with friends.
