I am very new to sweeping. I didn't even know sites like this existed a week ago! I received the following e-mail, which looks legitimate, but I'm not sure. I don't remember entering anything on the site. Any suggestions?

e-mail reads:

You have won a Masterhand(R) Cordless Drill with the potential to win the $1,000 Rolling Jackpot and any perviously unarwarded Jackpots!! Wonderful prize! Congratulations!
Lots of prizes come from Eprize, but just so you know, they are usually pretty slow at sending out the prize.
So learn to be patient if you aren't already. Best of luck to you!

Congrats! Looks like an interesting sweep, and new, with only two entries per period, so you are lucky!!

It said I won a Walmart gift card of 1,000 dollars but want let me do any thing else !!! Thanks Sabrina

First, I'm not sure what you mean by it won't let you do anything else. Do not provide any personal information until you can identify the sweepstakes, and you are sure it is not a scam.

Did you receive an email, who sent the email and does it say the name of the sweepstakes? If it does, check to see if you entered such a sweepstakes.

You can copy and paste a few lines of the email and do a Google search. Sometimes, the search turns up results which show others have received an identical message and it is a scam.

Does the email, [if it is an email], use the word "offer"? Sometimes, advertising and surveys lead you to believe you already won, and they are really asking you to complete a survey, and at the end of the survey, if you provide your personal information, for example, you can then be entered into a sweepstakes to win.

There are several possibilities - including a bonafide win, but you must investigate further.
