Is this wierd??

Like 3 months ago, I switched soaps because it was cheaper. I started buying Ivory soap, its 3 bars for 88 cents at walmart. Well once i opened the package to use it. I loved the smell. I couldn't understand why. But it seemed so familar to me. Well about a week of using that soap, I was hooked, seriously I smelled the soap at least 15 times while taking a shower. It smells so freaking good, I want to eat it or something.... Am I wierd? Do I have a soap obsession?? :crazytongue: I'm seriously. This smells drives me nuts. I love it.

99 44/100 percent pure .... and it FLOATS! :laughing: I've used Ivory for years and still love it.

I have too use pine tar soap (for my eczema) you don't want to smell that :crazytongue:

:sunny: Maybe you are unconsiously remembering when your mama use to bath you with it when you were a little one. As long as you don't start eating it :error: then I think you will be fine.

Pica is usually associated with pregnancy, but is also found in people with deficiencies, such as iron, vitamins and such. If it keeps up it is something to think about talking to a doctor about. I am on high levels of iron, vitamin D, and potassium where my body was so low after my kidney failure. It can cause real problems and can be caught with simple blood tests!!!

When I was pregnant my "pica" was household cleaners (especially Scott's Liquid Gold) and ice!!! You may want to take a pregnancy test if there is any doubt!

If you do start eating it that is a condition called "Pica" and you should be tested for anemia

Don't worry ~ I think it is the only disorder I know about except kidney failure!

I too love the smell! It does remind me of childhood and Saturday night bathtime!
