Way back in February I had won a tailgate cooler from the Mars Be On The Field promotion and after having waited quite a bit,and several phone calls later,I was finally contacted by a representative of D.L. Blair, which handles their promotions.Apparently, even tho I had won the cooler in the wee morning hours of said date, apparently my son had also played later in the day and won a candy coupon...he doesn't always tell me of his smaller wins.Being in the rules that only one prize per day per household, for some reason I lost out on the cooler and he got the candy bar.Unfair? Heck yeah! BUT,it IS the discretion of the promotional company to award prizes as they see fit.I thought about it and remembered that at first,if someone won in the household,it wouldn't let anyone else play. Then I remembered that if a sufficient amount of time had passed, that was no longer the case for some reason.Anyway, just a warning about one prize per household rules. The worst thing about it is..he lives somewhere else, he uses his address, but he was over and using my computer and they counted that. Not only did I win first, but they let him enter and win and award his prize to his address while DQ'ing me.Big bummer!!! D.L. Blair handles promotions for Mars and Dove and I think Proctor and Gamble. We will be being extra careful in the future when playing sweeps handled by them.BTW,he gave me his candy bar coupon...lol! Really could have used that tailgate cooler yesterday tho when we made the 2 hour trip to the dragstrip for the day!!
