Just got married

Hi everyone! I just got married yesterday - do I continue entering under my maiden name, or do I change names in the middle of current sweeps? I don't want any companies to think I am using 2 names and there are a lot of dailies that I enter that you can only win one prize. As if I have that great of luck, but what if my 2 names both get drawn for prizes - will I be disqualified? Also, what if my maiden name gets drawn for a big prize after I change my driver's license and ss card? By the way - on my wedding day I won a beautiful bracelet at KMart about an hour before the wedding

Congrats on the bracelet and the marriage!! I hope you are forever happy!!

if you want to keep it less complicated just change to your new name from this point forward, sponsors know people do get married, good luck :sunny:

Best wishes on your marriage! :sunny:

You can always hyphenate your name for the existing ones. For example Mary Smith becomes Mary Jones. Enter the existing ones Mary Smith-Jones. That way, you are also covered with your id if you need to have an affy done or they require a copy of your ID.

Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together. Now, get off the computer and honeymoon! :sunny:

:sunny: Congratulations! This happened to me. I married after I had started sweeping and as soon as I changed my driver's license, I changed my last name on the entries I was making. No problems. If you get an affy for a sweep with your prior name just show the notary your marriage license and you won't have any problems.

Both names are still legally yours to use. If you get an affidavit in the name other than you are using, you can still sign it in the name you are using despite it being different than the one on the affy. I've done it before. You can't get picked twice as a winner in a one-prize-per-person sweepstakes, unless you are using different addresses and email addresses for each name.

I know I'm a little late chiming in on this one, but I don't think the name change will matter much if the email address is still the same. Since only the last name changed (and you're a female), they should probably be able to figure that one out on their own. IF they even notice.

Congrats on your wedding.... and your bracelet win... Your name change will be no problem at all, just do wht lee suggested and from here on out useyour married name.....
