Everyone loves saving money. Smart shoppers who like to save big are clipping coupons, mailing in rebates and using a handful of other techniques to save big. One of those techniques is getting things for free.
Sound good to you? Where do you start? And how do you know you're not being ripped off? I've found a list of sites that are great for getting freebies - from beauty products and free food samples to free eBooks and free email newsletters, I dare you to not find something for free that you couldn't find useful.
FreeFlys
The Freeflys site is a great resource to find great freebies and daily deals. You can search for products in five categories: Food, Beauty, Children, Health, and Other.
Note: There is one air of caution before you get started. In order to receive free samples, you will need to fill out numerous surveys and give up some personal information such as your name, both email and mailing addresses, gender and birthday. In some cases, you may be asked to share your phone number.
You also might find yourself in a situation where you somehow signed up for numerous email newsletters. After looking through these freebie sites, the next morning my inbox was FLOODED with offers, newsletters and coupon offers - lots of them.
If you're going to sign up to get freebies, it might be a good idea to set up a temporary email address to keep your normal inbox, normal.

If you don't have time to click through endless offers, you might want to take a more direct approach to getting freebies.
