Rumors have been spreading for years about Facebook’s plans to charge for its services. While they’ve been debunked in the past, it looks like it's now coming true.
If you’re using this particular feature on Facebook, you’ll likely have to start paying for it.
[h=3]Would you be willing to pay Facebook subscription fees?[/h]We're talking about a feature on Facebook's app called Instant Articles. It's a mobile format that allows news publishers to post articles to Facebook's app that load and display nearly 10 times faster than the standard mobile web.

The feature previously hasn't allowed for paywalls. That makes it hard for publishers who charge for content to get paid. Some publishers have been complaining that they have lost control and revenue by having their stories posted to Facebook for free.
To resolve the issue, Facebook has begun testing support for Instant Article subscriptions. There will be two paywall options for publishers to choose between.
One option allows everyone to read 10 free articles per month. After a user reads 10 stories, they must sign up for a subscription.
The second option is where publishers decide which of their articles to lock behind the paywall. For users to view any of these locked stories, they must sign up for a subscription.
On a side note, Facebook won't see any money from these subscriptions. That's because when Facebook users want to read a story behind the paywall, they are directed to the source's website to pay for the subscription there. The subscriptions include access to the publisher's full site and those who already have subscriptions will have access to Instant Articles without paying twice.
The Instant Articles paywall feature will roll out over the next few weeks, but only for Android users. That's because Apple has yet to come to an agreement with Facebook on the details. It's unknown when it will roll out on Apple gadgets.
Not everyone is willing to pay for news these days. That's why newspapers have been struggling and going out of business for years. However, subscribing to a trusted news site is a great way to filter out fake news that has been circulating online recently.
[h=2]Speaking of Facebook annoyances, here's a secret setting they don't want you to know about but I'll tell you[/h]Have you ever gone to a website like Amazon, searched for a specific item like wireless earbuds and then the next time you're on Facebook, you see an ad for wireless earbuds? That's no accident. Facebook knows that you've visited other sites looking for earbuds. If it creeps you out that Facebook and other sites are watching your every move, keep reading.
Click here and we'll tell you how to make them stop invading your privacy!
