I had originally contacted the CBS affiliate about doing a story on Sweepstaking and they immediately took the bite; but I did not want to be on TV and started asking others to do it. They showed the website on TV Woo Hoo!!!!! Well a SP member did it and she was truly a star. Go see, Go see!!!!!!!


They may not have it up until later on today, I just checked and it is not there yet; but I saw it earlier on TV.
 
there is an article up now, but it doesn' mention SA or SP. The site mentioned is Sweeps Sweeties.com. Maybe I there is another article that I missed?

That was me on the video. I made sure to have Sweepstakes Plus up on my screen when he was filming. I also mentioned it when I was talking but they probably cut that part out. I've only watched the video once - I hate looking at myself! The Sweeties thing the host got from someone else. I've not been there, yet. So far, I only have time for Sweepstakes Plus!

Amy, that isn't Manny. Manny passed away this May 7. It broke our hearts as it was a fluke thing. He ate a stone and couldn't pass it. Surgery was the only option but risky at his age - 17+. He came through the surgery with flying colors. The last time I saw him I kissed him and told him to wait for me to come home (we had a trip planned). He almost made it but threw a blod clot the morning we were to come home. Thank G_d our pet sitter was holding him at the time. She adored him and it tore her up but I was so thankful he wasn't alone. He is under some begonias we planted that were 'his' color. I can see him from my desk.

Well, we couldn't stand the hole he left in our lives. Gabriel tried to fill it by himself but he's just one Poodle. I found Elijah (keeping to the angel theme) on petfinder. I know, what the heck was I doing there? But I couldn't stop myself. Eli is 7 and they thought he had Cushing's disease. We went to Dallas (5 hours there and 5 hours back) and picked him up so he could be treated by my vet, who is Dr. Wonderful the Best in my book. Dr WtheB doesn't think it is Cushing's after all! We're going to wait six months and test again. Eli is a scamp. He's a miniature/toy mix but has a total mini personality. He and Gabe are having an interesting time deciding who's number one - totally forgetting that I'M supposed to be number one! LOL!

Marsha, I could not have done it better than you. I thought you knew I had contacted them and asked them to do something on sweepstakings when I contacted you about it. The reporter was scheduled to come to my house and I got chicken and started asking around, of course Carlos could not give me info on anyone and you and I had been communicating about sweeps for years.

My degree is in Public Relations, and Print Journalism. I love writing press releases and getting people on TV, in magazines or any kind of media I can find.

Maybe I can be you agent
 
No, I thought Sherry contacted you! LOL! Yes, you can be my agent - but only if you get me paying jobs! :laughing: You sure are good at it! My sister majored in Journalism but she wasn't interested in the competition of it all. She is still a great write. Her husband, though, is the best writer I've ever read. He's been published in the letters to the editor of the Houston Chronicle - without editing! - but he works in a bank and refuses to see how good he is. <sigh> Now there's someone who needs an agent!
