Hubby won a GC for $300 to American Laser Center and I finally won an instant win this AM from Verizon

the $300 wouldn't pay for 1 eyebrow plucking / hair removal :laughing: I was hoping for the $5K - that way maybe I could do some of the wrinkle removal.... but NOOOOOO.... :)

I won the $300 dollar certificate too. Not sure if going to use it as most of the treatments take 6 or more times. Way over $300 budget. :laughing:

I had a call from the American Laser Center, too - won $300. But, the person on the phone didn't - and wouldn't - say how much the procedure cost, above and beyond the $300 "coupon" that I won. And, she had two days (Tuesday and Wednesday this week) that she had appointments for - could I come in during the next two days, and the I would get $100 off any procedure. I smell scam, I think...at least, not a contest per se, but promotion where you get $xxxx off for any purchase.

So, I said "no" to the woman and hung up.

Let me know how your hubby did - was it a "scam" or not. If I said no to a contest I'll :cry:

No, it's not a scam. I won a $300 certificate from Allure & then won another $300 off the website (which they upgraded to $400 if I booked by the end of the month). It still didn't pay for the full amount of the bikini hair removal that I went ahead & decided to do (they weren't supposed to take multiple coupons but the people at the local office were really nice about it).

I'll PM you with additional info.

My husband, brother, sister-in-law, mother, mother's boyfriend, and myself, "won" the $300 coupon, too! LOL We each got a call, and an email. We all passed, but $300 off, if you're going to have it done, is quite a chunk!

Congratulations! And definitely a big congrats on the Verizon win! I love gift cards, and I'd love to win that one! :cheers:
