Macros, Roboform and Rules

Almost everyone who posts seems to use Roboform or some other macro for filling out forms. Almost every sweeps rule states macros et al are forbidden and those entries will be void. 1) Can/do their computers really differentiate manual from macro-based (ieRoboform) entries? 2) On those sweeps you really want to win, should the entry be done manually, just in case?

The only time I worry about it is when it says in the rules "entries must by manually keystroked".. other than that robo is fine to use. you wont get dq. It would take to long to enter every single sweep manually.

I actually won at least once on one of those using Roboform. I think that's just another way of saying they don't want you using programs or services to enter for you. I think as long as they know you visited the site yourself to enter, Roboform isn't going to disqualify you despite that wording in the rules.

...but that's just what I believe!

none work on the flash forms. just copy your email addy and then paste it in each of those sweeps. Its still kind of a pita thats why I dont mess with those.

Roboform never works with caffiene.com sweepstakes. Is there a program which does work on that site?

A flash form is just a projection on the page. If you notice, the URL never changes with or without the form showing. In other words, it's like it's not really there on the page. So, Roboform cannot "see" any form there. Nothing can.
