SO LAST WEEK AT WORK, SEVERAL EMPLOYEES WANTED TO GO IN TOGETHER TO TRY TO WIN THE 240,000,000 MEGAMILLIONS LOTTO GAME. WE EACH PUT IN 10.00 AND BOUGHT THE TICKETS. TO OUR SURPRISE, WE GOT 4 OUT OF 5 NUMBERS PLUS THE MEGA NUMBER. THE PRIZE FOR THAT COMBINATION WAS 300,000! UNFORTUNATELY, 50 OTHER WINNERS GOT 4 OUT OF 5 PLUS THE MEGA SO WE HAVE TO SHARE THE PRIZE. EACH WINNING TICKET IS NOW WORTH 6,000. THAT IS NOT BAD EXCEPT I HAVE TO SPLIT THAT AMOUNT WITH 15 OTHER EMPLOYEES WHICH GIVES US EACH ABOUT 400.00 BEFORE TAXES. IN THE END, I AM HAPPY TO WIN 400.00 ON A 10.00 INVESTMENT. BUT, EVEN MORE EXCITING IS THE FACT THAT I CAN SAY THAT I WON 300,000 IN THE LOTTERY ! (EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO SPLIT IT WITH 65 OTHER PEOPLE!) KEEP ON PLAYING AND WINNING!

The Mega Millions Payout for 4 out of 5 plus the mega ball is $10,000, not $300,000...unless you have some other kind of Megamillions you're playing.Same with Powerball.Not sure if it would vary with rising jackpot tho.Oops..forgot to say CONGRATS on the $400...cash any day is nice!!
