The other day I got an email from this one twitter sweeps that I entered on here called Movie Fanatic telling me that they've mentioned my name on twitter congratulating me on winning a gift prize pack and how I needed to send them a Direct message on twitter with my email address,and so I did that but haven't heard back from them yet and it's kind of bothering me because I really want my prize they claimed that I won ,But anyways,i had wanted to know if anyone ever had any experience with them and if they are a real sweepstakes,because if they are then how many days does it take for them to get in contact with you after you've contacted them on twitter with your email address?Please let me know?Please and thank you!

Congratulations! Twitter sweeps can be a bit tricky sometimes. Couple times I had to email them a few times in order to get my prize....The only Twitter ones I've never had an issue with my prize are the big companies of course...and the Yahoo movies/Tv sweeps. If they still want to ignore you.... @ mention them. Hope you get your prize soon.

I have had several where I respond to initial email with info they want and then nothing until prize shows up. I wouldn't worry yet

:sunny: Congratulations on your win! Have never won a Twitter sweeps so I have no clue, but alot of companies that I have won from don't reply once I have sent information and the prize just shows up.

congrats, check to see if they are following you, if they are not, then your DM could not get thru to them, if that is the case, then try to get an email addy for them and explain that they have to follow you in order for you to DM to them. It is surprising that some companies that run sweeps on twitter don't know this or just don't think of it. I have had that happen twice, but always got thru to them via email, they followed me, I DM'd, and got my wins, and all was happy in sweepsville. good luck. OH YEA, and some, are just plain s---l---o---w !!!!!

& johnsnook they are following me and had first started following me ever since they mentioned my name on twitter telling me that I won,and how I needed to contact them in a dm with my email,and I did do that but still haven't heard back from them,but i'm praying and hoping that I will hear back from them but I don't know when it'll be but as the time and every couple days go by i'll update this to let everyone know if I heard anything or not!!

Congratulations on your win! It will probably just show up in the mail. You can sign up for UPS Alert (if you haven't already) and you will know what day it will be there if they send it UPS. UPS will notify you 1 or 2 days before expected arrival. Enjoy! :sunny:

It's been days since I last updated this but I still haven't heard anything back from Movie Fanatic regarding the prize that i had won from them
and I had also contacted people on the Movie Fanatic twitter that had won giveaways from them around the same time that I won mine ,and I had told them about Movie Fanatic and asked them if they ever heard anything from them when they won their giveaways and they told me nope,nothing,and so now I know they could be either a fake contest or they could be really slow at responding but i'm still going to give it a little bit more time to see if i'll l hear anything from them and IF I don't, then their fake and no one should fall for them and this sweepstakes site should take down any postings on them ,and so no one get scammed by them,but if I do hear anything back from them and they send me my prize ,then i'll let everyone know that their legit .

Hey everyone,I needed to updates you on this .

But you know how last week I told you's how I got a twitter mention from Movie Fanatics about a giveaway I entered a week or 2 ago that I was a winner of and how I needed to send them my email in a dm on twitter,and so they could respond to me which they never did or something ?

Well today I got a email from them in my email account with the email that I sent them in a dm on twitter ,telling me this :
Hi there,
Congratulations! You are our runner-up prize winner of the Katy Perry Part of Me prize pack. If you could send along your full name and address, I'll see that it gets shipped out ASAP.

Congrats! And thanks for being a Movie Fanatic!

& so now after seeing how they responded to me in a email with the email they got from a dm on twitter shows that they are very real and I am definitely excited and happy that they responded to me because I wasn't expecting any of it.But anyways,if anyone is thinking about entering them I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
