Well I finally have a new stepmom! Daddy and Wanda got married yesterday! It was a beautiful hot Kentucky Island day with a high of about 96 degrees ~ and it was so humid!!
Daddy and Wanda had a full house for the wedding with friends and family surrounding them. It was such a great day. We also had time to talk to each other's families and share about our Mom and their Dad that had passed on. Both families openingly talk about our love for our parents ~ it is wonderful that none of us have to tiptoe around one another!!
The reception was held at our church. I have been going to that church all my life. We had a fellowship hall full along with 3 other rooms in the church. A great friend of our, Kaye M., made the cake for us and was up baking all night the night before ~ it was the freshest wedding cake that I have ever tasted. They were also given so many gifts!! I am so glad that they had a great day! They also had a surprise ending with a limo (supplied by the people that Wanda had worked for over the years)that took them to Nashville to the hotel. They stayed overnight and flew out this morning for Canada to Niagria Falls.
It has been a rough last couple of days for me. I couldn't wear my shoes because my feet were so swollen from being on the run for so many days, but I wore white houseshoes! My color in the pictures is sorta gray looking and I look so swollen, so needless to say, I hope they keep my picture kept away!! As soon as I can I will post a link where you can see the wedding pictures if you are interested!!
