My first month sweeping :)

I have been waiting on a disability hearing for ages now, and I was really feeling discouraged about not being able to do anything productive with my time. The last week of September, I got motivated to enter a few sweeps. I had no idea how much free stuff is out there to enter for! So I started investing a few hours a day in entering, and my first month has been rewarding. In the month of October I won

44 books from goodreads
a copy of Pacific Rim on blueray
95.00 in shop your way rewards to spend at kmart/sears
a free redbox rental
a free product from purina
$100 off a vacation package at jetblue.com (which I gifted to a friend who can afford to use it lol)
2 free gallons of milk
A box of Harvest Snaps
and a Vtech Innotab 3s arv$99.00 which is an absolute blessing because the only thing my nephew has mentioned wanting for Christmas is a tablet! There is no way I could have gotten him one as I don't have an income right now. God can make a way where there doesn't seem to be one! The shop your way points have allowed me to order him some nice clothes for Christmas as well :)

These little wins have boosted my spirits dramatically, and I am thankful for each and every one!
 
Wow!! Glad your sweeping is helping you. I've entered more since I have extra time now, and doing pretty good also. Like you some of my wins will be used as presents. But always good to have something to share with others.

Know what you mean. I have spent a total of $5.00 on Christmas gifts over the past 2 years and about the same on birthdays. I really like the gift cards because that is usually what I would give someone anyway. Congratulations and enjoy your new hobby.

Congratulations on your wins! Those Good Reads Giveaways aren't easy to win. In the two years I've been sweeping I've only gotten 1 pre-teen book.

I'm so happy you won all those nice prizes, and that you won the one thing your nephew wanted for Christmas! That's a lot of books! Hope you have time to read them
 
Good for you. I always tell people I got rid of all my bad habits. This is what I exchanged them for! It is actually fun to check the mail now

Welcome to SA, sweeping and the Winner's Circle. You are off to a fantastic start. Sometimes you put a lot of time in and the results are not as immediately rewarding, but if you are patient and persistent, and don't give up, you should have more wins coming your way.

Sweeping is a good hobby and it certainly feels good when you can share your wins, get a little economic or monetary boost, and when you win something you really want for yourself or someone close to you.

I am happy you found sweeps. It's not always "reliable" but when you get lucky, you can win some amazing things. Persistance is number one when doing sweeps (and following the rules, lol) I really am sending some good luck your way and hope you keep doing well!!! It's so exciting to win, just stick with it!!!!
