New captcha that doesnt work?

Has anyone else noticed a new type of captcha that doesn't work even when you're typing in the correct words?

It's a fancy writing and always says you've entered it incorrectly?
 
It's definitely not having to do with the blocker. It will be a sweep that I can enter repeatedly. It will work and after a while, the captcha changes from numbers to enter to a phrase in a fancy font. But when I enter the phrase or word, it says I have it wrong. Every time. It's so strange. Just curious to see if anyone else had that happen. I actually am able to just clear my cookies and it goes back to the number captcha.

I think you are supposed to answer - like click on it {the words} then type what it says?
 
No, the original poster is absolutely correct. I've just run into these miserable captchas today and I am fed up with reCaptcha continually introducing ridiculously hard fonts and cumulatively wasting so much time in sweepers' lives, all (it seems to me) to justify the expense of adding their challenge box to sweepstakes. What is wrong with just always using the photos of house numbers anyway??? Man, this is so frustrating!

The fonts are fancy and appear to be in the cursive style of a female - flowing but also jumbled together. The characters themselves are drawn as outlines which make them even more difficult to read - the center is transparent. I just also ran into it for the first time in the Cabelas sweeps - I've decided not to waste my time any longer when they show up, instead I am selecting the audio option which they seemed to have finally cleaned up because it's easy to understand the 5 numbers that are spoken.

I searched Google images for a representative style to show you what they are similar to - this is a decent example as I could not figure out how to get a screen image jpeg small enough to upload ...

Yes, but oddly enough once you stumble onto one of these it only brings up more of them. It's almost like they're running a beta test every now and then with them.

Yes, it infects ALL promos, which is great when it's the house numbers!

I just clear temp files/cookies & run CCleaner then reload & try again to get back to "normal" captchas!
