Hi! So I've been sweeping for a little over a month and I've already won a few things! Wanted to say hello, too, because I just joined this website. I was curious about what local sweeps I could find on here, and it was pretty fruitful compared to what I find by googling or checking radio station pages.
First, on April 19th, I won the board game On Their Merry Way. Now, this game is still in Kickstarter and will only be released if it meets the funding goal. Kind of scammy, but eh, a potential free board game is cool, I suppose.
Then, on May 2nd, I won Lady and the Blog's Stress Management Giveaway ($25 gift card.) Haven't received this yet, but I'm being patient.
On May 17th, I won Enza's Bargain's giveaway for two tickets to see Porco Rosso. The sponsor, GKIDS, purchased tickets for me at my local theater. It went smoothly, and I enjoyed the film! I love Studio Ghibli, so I was a little too excited about this one.
Finally, on May 23rd, I won a Coach wristlet from Rose Gold Lining and De Nouveau Review. I'm so excited about this because I remember seeing this purse a while back and wanting it. It'll be perfect for fall, which I always look forward to when it starts to get warm.

I'm surprised I've been so lucky thus far because I don't do all of the entries. I skip anything regarding Facebook or Youtube, besides visiting a page or watching a video, because I actually use those websites and prefer to preserve my identity and reputation. Frankly, I don't use Twitter or Instagram, so those are basically just obvious sweeps accounts. I guess that doesn't automatically disqualify you from some of the blogger giveaways. I do casually post and re-post on Reddit to get referrals when I can, but only when one referral nets me more entries than my initial efforts. I also don't re-enter every single day, because sometimes I'm too busy or just don't feel like it.
I also use a custom application my boyfriend wrote for me that tracks daily sweepstakes and 48-hour referral cooldowns for Reddit. It's very, very handy, and he's continuously updating it to meet my requirements. I'm so lucky to have him.
I hope I didn't break any rules here by kind of introducing myself and compiling these various small wins in one post. I just haven't really interacted with anyone of the "sweeps" community, and I wanted to share my early successes! Good luck to everyone out there! It's so exciting to go through the winning posts and see that someone actually won what I was coveting.
