We're goin' away just for 1 nite to the ocean....Embassy Suites has an indoor heated pool and a hot tub with free buffet breakfast, we booked a suite here.....My daughter can't wait toget packed and get on the road. Monterey is about 1 hour from us, nice road trip... The views are killer... We're also goin' to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I'll take some pix and post them later... We love the beach...I'll miss ya but I'm gonna bring my laptop, so I'll see if I can get online... Have a fantastic Day SA
 
Have a wonderful time! I want to win airline tickets so that I can go visit my family in CA. I also miss the ocean, I told my mom that when I do finally get to come out we have to go!

Yep, that's him. He sooo cute... I love that guy.. LOL... We want to go back already, actually didn't want to leave, the weather was killer... We became friends with one of the workers at the hotel, he said next time call him a couple days before we want to come down and he'll "hook" us up.... That was cool of him.... We WILL be calling soon
 
You both look great together and so happy. How cool would that be?! You ought to plan a trip soon, always nice to get away. I want a vacation soooo bad!

Ohhhh Thanks Miki girl... we are very happy .... can't wait to tie the knot.... we are planning that trip ohhhhh sooooo soon..... and can't wait to get that 'free' room..... tee hee.... when are you goin on vacation? the summer is right around the corner

Originally I had planned to take one this summer but, it would cost too much for 4 airline tickets (or even 3) and even though we have houses to stay at I still need to take $$ for spending and my kids so I am waiting, will see what happens next year. Maybe I can win some tickets!
 
Yea girl.. I live in San Jo. It's about 1hr 15min from Monterey... Beautiful drive.... Wow Bakersfield... That's a ways out there.... I think that is up by Chico or El Dorado Hills :scratch:.... Either way it's Cali and I love Caliiiiiiii .....
 
Bakersfield is about 120 miles from L.A., pretty big city. I don't really miss California, well I do but, I like it better here if that makes sense. Sometimes I do feel homesick. Been here since August 2006 to work on my marriage and been here ever since.

My favorite vacation spots in CA. is Huntington/shaver lake and Pismo/Morro Bay.
 
Huntington & Pismo are off the hook.... The best of the best in my opinion... Great Beaches.... by far.... so if you don"t mind where are u at now? just curious??? I always wondered how would I make it if I ever left Cali.... I'm soooo scared to leave the state... so many mixes .. so many different beliefs... i don't know how I would cope...... Is that wierd? lol
