Can each person say, how many sweepstakes you are entering each day? I am just trying to see if the reason why i have not won anything is because i am not entering enough sweepstakes. I have been
only entering for items i can use. Thanks

I only enter for prizes we want, can use, and/or need; and I enter in the area of 800 to 1,000 per day combination of daily's and newly posted sweepstakes. It depends on how many sweepstakes are posted for each day and what part of the month it is, beginning or end. That doesn't include weekly's, monthly's, or odd entries.

I average probably 30-40 per day. More if I have time. Less if I don't. Lately the only thing I have had time for are the voting contests on the forum and the ones I have labeled "If you enter nothing else, enter this" on my sweepstakes plus page. There are 28 of those. I just won a really nice gift basket from gourmetgiftbaskets.com, too. So if there are only 5 things you're interested in winning, then only enter 5 contests! You have just as good a chance of winning those as others do.

Good luck!

Just like you can't win the lottery unless you buy a ticket, you have to enter to win a sweeps

The variables are huge - local, recipe, etc. have less entering, so that ups your chances - with *most* sweeps being easy to enter & open to most, if not all, it makes sense your chances to win will be less, BUT... I've won an unlimited with just ONE entry, and I recently won the GP from a year long daily with TONS entering!!!

My point? Don't think about odds/what others do - like lisat821 said, enter those you would like to win from - think quality, not quantity :)

Now for the CREDO:

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :crazytongue: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:

All the advice here so far has been very helpful, thanks. I am going to try to aim for 20 sweeps daily, in the hopes that i will eventually get better at this and can do more. I like the Credo makes you feel you are not waisting time.

Are you hand typing all the forms for the sweeps you enter or have you downloaded RoboForm? You could increase the number of sweeps you enter by quite a bit without spending anymore time if you use RoboForm. Check out the forum and you will find lots of info on using Roboform. Good Luck!!

I have been hand typing all the forms. Today I watched the instruction videos on Roboform, will try to find the free download.

Hi saintjewel:

I enter every day, mostly one entries and the daily entries. I save the daily entries I want to win the most to my favorites so if I do not have time to enter many contests on a given day, I at least enter those. I very much agree with Amy that it is SO important to believe that you will win. The power of positive thinking has paid off for me more than once. For example, I entered a trip to the pro bowl in Miami sponsored by Bud Light Sweepstakes. I am not a football fan and I do not drink beer, but I wanted to go to South Beach Miami to go to the beach. Visualizing your win can make it a reality. I won this trip on 1 entry. Persistence pays off. I also won a trip from Glamour for 5 to NYC, 1 entry. Again, I really saw myself enjoying NYC with 4 friends as I had never been there. I do not enter 600 sweeps a day, since I do not have the time. If you enter sweeps on a daily basis, hence the timing factor, you will win. I believe that being grateful for others wins and posting Congrats has something to do with winning as well. Best Wishes for Many Wins! Kris

Just remember, never GET discourged(sp?)
People, ALOT, enter sweeps every single day. There's no such luck. Just random. Unless otherwise stated.
Don't enter a sweepstakes more than once if the rules say only once. Otherwise, u could be disqualified(sp?)
And, never pay to enter a sweepstakes. As always, it's free. Except for the taxes on the ARV, unless otherwise it's disputed. Which is possible.

I am now using roboform partially. My next decision is choosing two categories to specialized in. I applaud everyone to be able to get through so many sweeps daily. Good luck!!!

I used autofill/typing for my 1st 6 months - when I finally d/ld'd robo I kicked myself for waiting!!! :crazytongue:

Be patient - you WILL reach a point where you've mastered the learning curve & where you will be able to zip through your sweeps :)

 Sometimes I enter 100 sweeps or sometimes I have just enough time to enter the 20 or so instants...it just depends on how much time I have. After entering the instants I go to the expiring soon page and make sure I enter at least the dailies, then I check to make sure Ive entered the one time sweeps. Its funny, I remember each entry page Ive ever entered (so Im sure Im not duplicating on the one time only sweeps, I do this by visualizing receiving the prize) but I cant remember what I fixed for dinner 2 days ago! I also only enter the ones Im interested in the prizes..why waste time entering for something I dont realy want? I know the thrill of winning (my biggest win was 10 years ago for an entertainment package worth $5000, the TV still works!) but Ive had several dry spells lasting months. I do what someone else suggested---re-visit winning emails or letters (I have a scrapbook/memory box) and this invigorates me to keep trying. I also enjoy reading the wins posted by others on here, it just makes me more determined to keep entering. And most of all, I keep it fun! If I hit a dry spell I concentrate on finding free samples and high value coupons, then it feels like Im winning again.
Good luck and may the sweeps fairy visit all of us soon!
