Earlier @ work 2day, I was running around doin' a bunch of things and stumbled across one of my friggin' acrylic nails..... Ewwww... right there as soon as you walk into my cube.... LOL.. ahahahah.... wth? 1 popped off..... after that I came home and pulled, bit & ripped off the other 9....That hurt soooooo bad.... hate taking off those....

Do you feel the same way when it comes to takin' off your "fake nails"?.... that hurts.....Love having those nails on but sometimes, is it really worth the heartache??????????????/

:sunny: Youch! I am blessed with nice nails, have never had any fake ones. I did go with a friend once and watch as they ripped hers off. I knew that was not something I would ever do. You are a braver person than me. They do look nice, but I am not into having pain inflicted on myself.
 
I've never had fake ones either ~ the real ones hurt like crap when they break I can't imagine if the others hurt worse *shutters*
 
OMG ouch is right! I had mine done 14 years ago. Never again :booty" When I bit and pulled mine off the top layer of my nails came off with it. I had soft, brittle nails for a year or better after that. Mine were done at a cosmetology school and looked awful. I do like the way the shorter acryllic nails look on other women, though. Especially the french tip ones.

I hate long nails or even medium length nails so I cut mine down weekly or more. They grow fast because my hands are always in water, cleaning this or that.
