A friend in college was forced to go to therapy. He figured since he only got drunk on weekends, he wasn't an alcoholic.
Her rationale is the same. Since she can't have fun without being buzzed or drunk, she has an issue.

I've got an uncle who still insists he is not an alcoholic-after 24 (Twenty-four) drunk driving arrests (including one where he ran into a school bus). Not an alcoholic, just "likes to drink"...
