he is awesome, he is for getting government out of individuals lives, drastically cutting taxes, keeping our noses out of foreign policy. if you want to know more about him i suggest checking out his youtube site. there are many videos there where he discusses his policy. another greta thing about him is he upholds the constitution and bases his votes on it. I love this guy

The man is anti-gay, pro-life, and far too conservative to be a Libertarian...and that is a shame. :smt018

his political view on homosexuality is to leave it up to the states not the federal government, therefore he would oppose federal legislation banning gay marriage.

the same goes for abortion. he used to deliver babies for a living and is pro-life, but he feels it should be left up to the states and would oppose federal legislation

Ron Paul has my support. It's very rare seeing a honest candidate running for office.

I like his views, but he should stand up for what he believes in himself not leaving it up to the states to decide.

People should really not support fringe candidates like Ron Paul or Ralph Nader. These people siphon away votes from the Democratic Party (as with Nader), and independent and moderate votes from the Republican Party. Neither of these candidates will get anywhere near the nomination for President of their Parties.

If people want some sort of change in the current Administration, then vote for one of the two main Parties during the 2008 elections. Geez, people are throwing their votes away with fringe candidates. Yes, you are making a statement with your vote, but you are also potentially damaging the leading Party candidate.

Now, if the Libertarians or the Greens actually had some significant numbers and supporters, far more than enough to get placed on the ballots of all 50 states...then voting for either Party would not be a problem, and your votes would go much farther.

That there is exactly why we never get a decent person in the white house. Everyone is conditioned to vote for the two main party lines and believe that they are wasting their vote on anyone else.

If people truly made an educated vote and a voted their conscience, we might have a decent person in the white house, and the two main parties wouldn't end up being the monopoly.

Irregardless of who I think may win, I vote my conscience; because that's really the only responsible way to vote.
