I wasn't going to report this win till I actually got the prize because I figured it would be weeks before I got the Headphones.
On Monday 4/16 I received an email stating that I had won the Headphones and there was an attachment to the email which was
a "Authorization & Release Form". I was skeptical at first and wanted to verify it was real because it was asking for my Social Security number.
The email had the phone number and the name of the marketing person who sent me the email. I verified the phone number as belonging to Polk Audio via google and called the number and asked if the person on the email worked there and they asked me if I wanted to be transferred to that person. I said "yes". It went to voice mail, and I did not leave a message because that was enough verification for me. I faxed the form and responded to the email and asked that they verify receipt of the form that I faxed them. They emailed me back and verified receipt and thanked me for my quick response. I did this all within 1hr from the time I received the email.
Today 4/18 I received an email from Polk Audio with the invoice and Fed Ex tracking number. Fed Ex tracking shows I will receive my prize tomorrow 4/19.
This prize retails for $99.95. It is one of twelve they are giving away and there should be 6 more to win. Drawing will be on 4/23 and 4/30. Sorry this was so long winded, but I am really tickled about this win and amazed at how fast I am getting this prize.
