Prayer Of The Day

I wonder how can God love us. We must be a disappointment to him. Just like the Jews in the desert we turn our backs on him and yet he still loves us if we seek his face. We have to repent for all our sins and run to him. Father how can you love a wretch like me? All the times I must be an embarrassment to you with my sinfull nature. I desire to be always pleasing in your site and I ask that you draw me near each time I start to drift away.Forgive us Lord for sometimes we mess up. In Jesus name I pray Amen.We need to pray for his protection in these last days. Times are going to get worse as long as we deny him but as Christians we must be vigilant and continue to pray for a lost and dying world. We can be the remnant.

[Proverbs 26
1LIKE SNOW in summer and like rain in harvest, so honor is not fitting for a [self-confident] fool.(A)
2Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying, so the causeless curse does not alight.(B)

3A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a [straight, slender] rod for the backs of [self-confident] fools.

4Answer not a [self-confident] fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him.

5Answer a [self-confident] fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes and conceit.(C)

6He who sends a message by the hand of a [a]fool cuts off the feet [of satisfactory delivery] and drinks the damage.(D)

7Like the legs of a lame man which hang loose, so is a parable in the mouth of a fool.

8Like he who binds a stone in a sling, so is he who gives honor to a [self-confident] fool.

9Like a thorn that goes [without being felt] into the hand of a drunken man, so is a proverb in the mouth of a [self-confident] fool.

10[But] like an archer who wounds all, so is he who hires a fool or chance passers-by.

11As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.

12Do you see a man wise in his own eyes and conceit? There is more hope for a [self-confident] fool than for him.(E)

13The sluggard says, There is a lion in the way! A lion is in the streets!(F)

14As the door turns on its hinges, so does the lazy man [move not from his place] upon his bed.

15The slothful and self-indulgent buries his hand in his bosom; it distresses and wearies him to bring it again to his mouth.(G)

16The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes and conceit than seven men who can render a reason and answer discreetly.

17He who, passing by, stops to meddle with strife that is none of his business is like one who takes a dog by the ears.

18Like a madman who casts firebrands, arrows, and death,

19So is the man who deceives his neighbor and then says, Was I not joking?(H)

20For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, contention ceases.

21As coals are to hot embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome man to inflame strife.(I)

22The words of a whisperer or slanderer are like dainty morsels or words of sport [to some, but to others are like deadly wounds]; and they go down into the innermost parts of the body [or of the victim's nature].

23Burning lips [uttering insincere words of love] and a wicked heart are like an earthen vessel covered with the scum thrown off from molten silver [making it appear to be solid silver].

24He who hates pretends with his lips, but stores up deceit within himself.

25When he speaks kindly, do not trust him, for seven abominations are in his heart.

26Though his hatred covers itself with guile, his wickedness shall be shown openly before the assembly.

27Whoever digs a pit [for another man's feet] shall fall into it himself, and he who rolls a stone [up a height to do mischief], it will return upon him.(J)

28A lying tongue hates those it wounds and crushes, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

I'm siting here and I am reminded of how important it is to start each day off right. The only way to ensure that happening is to include God in your day. Spend time with him before you do anything else. Get on your knees and ask him to guide you and thank him for the many blessings he has given you. He is Lord Amen.

Proverbs 6
1MY SON, if you have become security for your neighbor, if you have given your pledge for a stranger or another,
2You are snared with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech of your mouth.

3Do this now [at once and earnestly], my son, and deliver yourself when you have put yourself into the [a]power of your neighbor; go, bestir and humble yourself, and beg your neighbor [to pay his debt and thereby release you].

4Give not [unnecessary] sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids;

5Deliver yourself, as a roe or gazelle from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

6Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways and be wise!--(A)

7Which, having no chief, overseer, or ruler,

8Provides her food in the summer and gathers her supplies in the harvest.

9How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?(B)

10Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to lie down and sleep--

11So will your poverty come like a robber or one who travels [with slowly but surely approaching steps] and your want like an armed man [making you helpless].(C)

12A worthless person, a wicked man, is he who goes about with a perverse (contrary, wayward) mouth.

13He winks with his eyes, he speaks by shuffling or tapping with his feet, he makes signs [to mislead and deceive] and teaches with his fingers.

14Willful and contrary in his heart, he devises trouble, vexation, and evil continually; he lets loose discord and sows it.

15Therefore upon him shall the crushing weight of calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken, and that without remedy.

16These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:

17A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,(D)

18A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,

19A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.

20My son, keep your father's [God-given] commandment and forsake not the law of [God] your mother [taught you].(E)

21Bind them continually upon your heart and tie them about your neck.(F)

22When you go, they [the words of your parents' God] shall lead you; when you sleep, they shall keep you; and when you waken, they shall talk with you.

23For the commandment is a lamp, and the whole teaching [of the law] is light, and reproofs of discipline are the way of life,(G)

24To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a loose woman.

25Lust not after her beauty in your heart, neither let her capture you with her eyelids.

26For on account of a harlot a man is brought to a piece of bread, and the adulteress stalks and snares [as with a hook] the precious life [of a man].

27Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned?

28Can one go upon hot coals and his feet not be burned?

29So he who cohabits with his neighbor's wife [will be tortured with evil consequences and just retribution]; he who touches her shall not be innocent or go unpunished.

30Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry;

31But if he is found out, he must restore seven times [what he stole]; he must give the whole substance of his house [if necessary--to meet his fine].

32But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks heart and understanding (moral principle and prudence); he who does it is destroying his own life.

33Wounds and disgrace will he get, and his reproach will not be wiped away.

34For jealousy makes [the wronged] man furious; therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance [upon the detected one].

35He will not consider any ransom [offered to buy him off from demanding full punishment]; neither will he be satisfied, though you offer him many gifts and bribes.

Just wanted to pop back in and say I had a great praise and worship this morning. Me and my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I bow to him and lift up the name of the most High God.

We just need to do church every day and we are the temple so we can worship any time and any place. Praise God. Now go do church everyone.

My daughter is pregnant so I am praying that she has a safe pregnancy and no complications. This is my first grandchild and I am so excited. What a blessing. Father I ask that you be with my daughter throughout this pregnancy and keep her and the baby strong. Thank you for life and the gift that it is. I trust in you and I know you are in this situation in Jesus name I pray Amen.

Oh cin, I am so very happy for you and your daughter, I have two wonderful and beautiful grandsons one is 1 year old, other 7, and I can tell you I never would have believed anyone as to how much you will love and adore your grandchildren. It is so wonderful to be able to love spoil and take care of them and not have to be the "bad" guy who has to make all the rules and such, but to be the one they run to for being saved. lol. The first time I saw my grandson my heart felt like it would burst with love. I was not even prepared for the extreme love and protectiveness I felt for this child. I knew I would love them and was very excited, but felt there was no way possible I could love any child as much as my own children, well guess what, wrong again, from day 1 those babies are my heart. anyway forgive my rambling, but I just am so happy for you and want you to know what a wonderful gift God has given you. I will defiantly pray for you and your daughters well being at this time. sisters in Christ, tobby1

Thank you so much tobbymac. I can already feel the love I have for this little gift from above. God has given us so much and now to let me have this little blessing in my life is more than anyone could ask for. I am trusting the Lord to keep her and the baby safe. I know that the baby belongs to him so he'll be with us.

God thank you for sisters in Christ who are willing to pray with us any time we need it.

I have been busy the last few days but I am always with my Father in heaven. You know things happen in our day to day lives that could turn out bad BUT GOD. He steps in and you recognize it was him. Make sure to thank him. Be blessed everyone.

I think life is so good. I know I am blessed beyond measure. You can have the same thing if you like. He is such a good Father.

Psalm 68 (Amplified Bible)

Psalm 68
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A song.
1GOD IS [already] beginning to arise, and His enemies to scatter; let them also who hate Him flee before Him!
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish before the presence of God.

3But let the [uncompromisingly] righteous be glad; let them be in high spirits and glory before God, yes, let them [jubilantly] rejoice!

4Sing to God, sing praises to His name, cast up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts--His name is the Lord--be in high spirits and glory before Him!

5A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His holy habitation.

6God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

7O God, when You went forth before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness--Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!--

8The earth trembled, the heavens also poured down [rain] at the presence of God; yonder Sinai quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9You, O God, did send a plentiful rain; You did restore and confirm Your heritage when it languished and was weary.

10Your flock found a dwelling place in it; You, O God, in Your goodness did provide for the poor and needy.

11The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host.

12The kings of the enemies' armies, they flee, they flee! She who tarries at home divides the spoil [left behind].

13Though you [the slackers] may lie among the sheepfolds [in slothful ease, yet for Israel] the wings of a dove are covered with silver, its pinions excessively green with gold [are trophies taken from the enemy].

14When the Almighty scattered kings in [the land], it was as when it snows on Zalmon [a wooded hill near Shechem].

15Is Mount Bashan the high mountain of summits, Mount Bashan [east of the Jordan] the mount of God?

16Why do you look with grudging and envy, you many-peaked mountains, at the mountain [of the city called Zion] which God has desired for His dwelling place? Yes, the Lord will dwell in it forever.

17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands. The Lord is among them as He was in Sinai, [so also] in the Holy Place (the sanctuary in Jerusalem).

18[a]You have ascended on high. You have led away captive a train of vanquished foes; You have received gifts of men, yes, of the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell there with them.(A)

19Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

20God is to us a God of deliverances and salvation; and to God the Lord belongs escape from death [setting us free].

21But God will shatter the heads of His enemies, the hairy scalp of such a one as goes on still in his trespasses and guilty ways.

22The Lord said, I will bring back [your enemies] from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the [Red] Sea,

23That you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their share from the foe.

24They see Your goings, O God, even the [solemn processions] of my God, my King, into the sanctuary [in holiness].

25The singers go in front, the players on instruments last; between them the maidens are playing on tambourines.

26Bless, give thanks, and gratefully praise God in full congregations, even the Lord, O you who are from [Jacob] the fountain of Israel.

27There is little Benjamin in the lead [in the procession], the princes of Judah and their company, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

28Your God has commanded your strength [your might in His service and impenetrable hardness to temptation]; O God, display Your might and strengthen what You have wrought for us!

29[Out of respect] for Your temple at Jerusalem kings shall bring gifts to You.

30Rebuke the wild beasts dwelling among the reeds [in Egypt], the herd of bulls (the leaders) with the calves of the peoples; trample underfoot those who lust for tribute money; scatter the peoples who delight in war.

31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall hasten to stretch out her hands [with the offerings of submission] to God.

32Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praises to the Lord! Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

33[Sing praises] to Him Who rides upon the heavens, the ancient heavens; behold, He sends forth His voice, His mighty voice.

34Ascribe power and strength to God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength and might are in the skies.

35O God, awe-inspiring, profoundly impressive, and terrible are You out of Your holy places; the God of Israel Himself gives strength and fullness of might to His people. Blessed be God!

Bless the Lord oh my soul amd all that is within me bless his holy name. He is worthy of all praise and we will worship him in heaven so let's make sure to do it on eartth.

I have a situation that I am struggling with and when it gets to be too much for me to handle I start to just praise the name of Jesus. Within minutes my heartache goes away because it is replaced with the joy of the Lord. He is the only one who knows my heart and he is the only one I can take all of my cares to. He is my comforter. Amen

There are just some things that we can not handle on our own. Have you found yourself trying to fix all of your problems and it just doesn't work out? Sometimes we try and solve problems on our own without God's help and it doesn't turn out right. When that happens to you just give it to the Lord. Trust him and he will be there for you. The answer you get may not be what you want but it is what's planned.
