Prayer Of The Day

It's such a blessing to see others commenting in this thread. I know that our Lord is the center of so many people's lives. He loves us so much and all we have to do is let him.
 
Can you imagine the love our Lord has for us? Think about how much we love our children and multiply that x's 10. The overwhelming need to protect us and give us the desires of our heart. Unconditional love. The bond between a mother and her child is something that can only come from God. Celebrate the love of Jesus today and every day.
 
As Christians the meaning of what today and the next several days mean are the most important time of the year. Who can forget the price he paid. We serve a marvelous God and a loving Father. I will lift up the most high God with all that I am Amen
 
I hope everyone is enjoying this Easter weekend. I can only imagine how things were back when Christ gave his life for us. The disciples all thought he was dead and I can guess even though Christ told them he would rise from the dead they must have doubted. Just as we would have I'm sure. Praise God he does live and because he lives so can we. The tomb is empty and he is risen Amen.
 
Thank you Lord for the wonderful gift of your Son for us. Praise God. I cannot put into words the feelings it gives me that God loves us so much to give His only Son for our sins so we can be in heaven with Him. Amen Amen.
 
I pray that we all start our week off with all the love we can give and receive to one another. Christ loved us so much he died for us and maybe if we loved one another with the realization that he died for all not just some we might be able to change the world in our own small way. His greatest commandment love one another Amen
 
Let's spend each day with Jesus. Doesn't that sound like a great idea. Let him become the center of your world and by doing so he will be your world.
 
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will [o]ease and relieve and [p]refresh [q]your souls.]
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ([r]relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.(E)
For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [t]good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
 
It is a beautiful day today. Here in Houston we don't get a whole lot of spring but when we do it reminds me of just a tiny piece of what heaven would be like. I can just look around and see God smiling down on us so lets all smile at each other and spread some epring time.
 
I have been busy last couple days in Dallas. Waiting on my grandchild to be born. Father what a blessing it is to have a new little life coming into the world. I pray the labor and delivary goes well and that my baby will be a good mom.

I sent up a special prayer today for my Sister in Christ, aqualina56 to get well. I hope the Lord sends her a nice sweeps win because I never would have met her online if we hadn't had the same hobby! God Bless You Aquelina for being my friend when I so needed one. The Road of Life is hard and bumpy but when You have a real friend to lean on it is smoother. Please send a special prayer up for her health? Help me pray please Everyone?

Cindy, hope all is going well with the new baby coming to meet the world, we are praying for you and your family.
God is so wonderful and the miracle of birth shows so much of Gods wonderful power, how can anyone think there is not a God. When I look at a newborn baby or see a sunset I feel the power of God and just can't imagine how anyone could not feel him and his love.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness,but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
 
Thanks tobby for keeping the prayers going. I am so proud to anounce the birth of Logan Curtis Wells. He was born on April 12 weighing 6 lbs. 7 oz. He is such a huge blessing and he fills up my heart like nothing else. I have been here in Dallas helping my daughter so I didn't get here often enough.

God gives us newborns so that we can feel all the love and good things in the world. Amen Lord Jesus.

Joy to the Lord, God be praised, Amen Amen, I feel so much joy for you my sister in Christ, this is a wonderful time and I am so happy to hear all is well. I was concerned as we had not heard from you as yet, but understand you had your hands full, Of a beutiful new born baby. That is the best kind of full hands there is. Well God is wonderful and my prayers for you and your family are answered, Praise God and to him be the glory.

We can see all the good that Christ represents when we stare into the eyes of a newborn. That is pure love and nothing can compare. The miracle of birth and a perfect new life is all that anyone needs for proof of God Amen.
 
What a blessing Cindy. I am so happy for you! I am sending up my prayers for the safety and health of the baby and all that post here. When God took that heavy cross up He did it for all of Us. He was so strong for those who treated him so poorly. If it had been me I would have asked My Father to hail down fire and move to another planet and start over. Gosh he has forgiveness. This I must learn more of. He is risen!! In Him we all rest Our love, hopes and belief.
