Prayer Of The Day

Just a quick blessing for my baby girl and her husband to be. I know the Lord will bless their marriage and I am just so proud to be the mom of this beautiful young woman. She and her sister are the best things I have ever done and they are a gift from God on loan to me. I thank him for allowing me to be their mom.

While I have thoroughly enjoyed posting in this thread I am not going to be posting anymore. I do hope it has been as enjoyable to those who read it as it was to me. I have been truly blessed to be able to share my faith with whoever needed a little encouragement now and then. Thank you to the site owners for allowing me to post this from the beginning. I have got some things I need to attend to and I don't think I will have the time to post each day. To whoever would like to continue this prayer thread please do. I think it would be a huge blessing to whoever reads it.

God bless all of those who receive these words written here and have come just a little closer to God.
 
Oh Cin, I will miss your post sooo much. :cry: It is one of the first things I check when I get on the computer. I understand you need to take care of your things, just want you to know your post will be very missed. Please do it again if you find you have the time, and thank you so much for all the posting you have done so far. God bless you and help you to accomplish your goals.

Just a quick prayer for anyone needing a little hug from God. He's there for all who need him. I will take the time to post here when ever I feel the Lord wants me to. I am taking care of personal issues but God is faithful.Amen

I think we all need to be praying for our economy. We know times are tough right now and we also know nothing is too big for our God.

Father in heaven we lift our finances up to you because we know you care about our every need. We trust that you are in control and that you will provide for us according to your will. I put my trust in you and I will not fear.Thank you Lord for being the Lord of all things and for being our provider Amen.
 
Just a little prayer for a member of SA and her family. Father be with them in this time of trouble and help them be strong to handle what the world has thrown at them. Give them a special Christmas gift Amen.
 
This whole world is hurting right now. But God. I see it all around me. I know so many people who are having so many problems and my heart goes out to them. We will all have struggles but we never have to face anything alone. Let us all agree to come before our Lord and savior to ask him to stand beside us and when we can't stand let him carry us. I will fall into his loving arms and give him all of my troubles. I will trust that no matter the outcome I can get through it but only by complete trust. Let your faith grow and you don't have to hurt. He does wipe away every tear.

Today's verse speaks about pressing towards the mark of the high calling. What is that high calling? It is to be like Jesus. He is our example and we are to strive to be like him. I don't think we will ever reach that point here on earth but we have to follow his lead and look to his life here on earth each day. He was and is perfect. He committed no sin. When we read his word and spend time in prayer with him we can know what he wants and expects of him. What a great role model to have. Praise God.
 
No mountain is too big for God and no small matter is too small for him to bother with. No matter what it is he can handle it for you and he wants us to know we should have faith to believe in him.

Have faith
 
Faith. We have to have faith to believe first of all that Jesus is who he claims to be. We have to have faith to believe he died for our sins.We have to have faith to believe he rose from the dead and is the one and only God.

1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

For us to become more like Christ we have to strengthen our faith and we have to spend time with him. Let us all walk by faith and not by sight Amen.
 
Today is such a beautiful day. Father we thank you for beautiful weather and we know all good things come from you.

Always remember every good gift comes from heaven above and anything that is bad is from the enemy. Too many times we try and say why did God do this or that when in reality it comes from satan or man. We have free will to choose how we live and in having free will sometimes we make the wrong choices. We are all guilty of that at times. We are all sinners. That's why Christ paid the price for our sin. We are never good enough to be able to not sin. It's our nature because we were born in sin. But God is good and wants to bless us.

Thank you Father for giving us free will and for providing a way for us to be spotless before you Amen.
 
Only one God has paid the price for us and he did it by taking all sin and being the sacrificial lamb. I just am in awe that anyone would do this for all mankind. All we have to do is accept it Amen
 
I was trying to find a passage that would describe how beautiful the Lord is and there would just be so many that it would be hard to narrow it down. There are just no words that can come close as to what he is. David wrote many songs praising him and many others in the scriptures wrote of who Christ is. To me all scripture is beautiful and my savior is beautiful.

Psalm 8

1O LORD, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on [or above] the heavens.

Father I ask that you continue to bless this site and that the owners and members be blessed. I pray that your hand be with us and that we all prosper in every area of our lives. That we will make a difference for the kingdom of God and that we will let others see Christ in us. That our families be blessed and that in return we all bless others. It is your desire to give good things to us and all we have to do is believe in you and follow your ways. Open our eyes and hearts to always see you. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
 
I am praying today for anyone who receives it. Be strong in your faith and serve the Lord with all your heart.

I will be gone after today so that I can be with my dad while he is going through his cancer treatment. I hope that someone might post a prayer now and then because we could all use some encouragement.

O.K. I am not very good at this, but I will try and write something in Cin's absents.
Dear Heavenly Father we pray for those who are lost and looking for something in life, not knowing what they want. Help them Lord to find you and your ways, so they may know true peace and happiness.
I also would like to offer a prayer for Cindy and her family while they go through this trying time. Lord please give them strength, and heal her fathers body, making him well and whole. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
 
Today I would like to say a word about being grateful for all that the Lord gives us. If you love him and try your best to do his will, he will bless you richly. I can't even begin to describe the wonderful fullness and happiness that life becomes when you live for the Lord.
Help us Heavenly Father to live as you would have us to, and to always be grateful for all the blessings we have, and to remember those less fortunate then us. And to always help others when the opportunity presents itself

Jesus Christ died for our sins. Mine and yours. It doesn't matter how rich, young, beautiful, or talented you are or are not. He loves us all. He wants to help us all. And he died and rose again for us all, so our sins are forgiven. This is such a wonderful and unbelievable gift.
Heavenly Father help us to accept the wonderful gift of everlasting life you have given to us all. Your Son died for our sins. Help us to ask him into our lives and to be filled with the Holy Spirt. May your light shine in us for others to see the way to you.
