Prayer Of The Day

Have you ever been going about your daily business and someone does something that really makes you mad. If you are like most people you may yell, give them a dirty look, or some other not so nice gesture. We all get caught up in the moment sometimes. But this is not the way Jesus wants us to be. When you feel yourself getting mad, thinking someone has wronged you, think of everything Christ went through. He was beaten, imprisoned, and crucified. And he still prayed for the people who did this to him, while he was on the cross. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they have done." It is so amazing to me how much he loves us, and how much he gives us each day.
Heavenly Father I pray that you will help us to be more like your Son, and forgive people instead of becoming hateful and critical of others. Help us to respond with kindness when others are hateful toward us. Let us show the world the way you want us to be, and the way to everlasting life.
Amen
 
Are you grateful for everything God has given you? Tonight I took the children trick or treating, I noticed they would go to each house, get their candy, then come back and say whether it was something cool, or some cheap thing. We teach children to act this way, and don't always realize we are doing it. We complain about not getting the best prize, or that someone else got a raise at work and we didn't. We need to stop and be grateful for all that we do have. And we really need to remember children are listening and imitating everything we do or say.
Heavenly Father help us to be content with the things we have, and the gifts you give us. Help us to remember there are always others worse off then us. Also help us to show the children how to be happy with the gifts they receive and not to expect only the biggest and best of everything. In Jesus name we pray.

You have heard that it was said. "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you , love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you , and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of you Father in heaven: for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

Wow is that ever a tough thing to do. I am sure I am not alone in having trouble doing this, but we have to keep trying and doing as God would have us to.
 
I wanted to say anyone who wants to do the daily prayer at any time, please do. I don't mean to just take over, and really hope Cin will do it again just as soon as she gets back as she is really good at it. I don't want to step on any one's toes, just love to praise God and share his word.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;for whatever a man sows that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption. but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all. especially to those who are of the household of faitrh.
Galatians 6/7-10
 
As the election draws near I have heard many people expressing fear and anxiety. Some talk of a financial depression, others say they feel this is the end times, or that we are headed for the 3rd world war. I don't know if any or all of these things will or won't happen. But I do know you can depend on God and he will take care of you regardless of what happens. He is our strengh and our joy. He is always there, never changing and always the truth. Turn to God for all your worries and troubles.

Heavenly Father I pray for our Country and its leaders. I pray that the right people for the job are elected. I pray that we all support our leaders and goverment. Help us Lord to turn to you for all our needs. Help whoever becomes the leader of this country to be wise and follow your ways. Help us to feel your love and to know we are safe in your arms at all times.
In Jesus name we pray

Oh tobby thank you sweetheart for keeping the prayers going. God will bless you for sharing the good news and for being an encouragement. I am just popping in but may not be here every day. Either way please help me spread the love of Jesus.

My dad is fine. Praise God. They got all the cancer. God is so good. I am still in Louisiana and will be here for awhile. But I so need these words of encouragement.

I pray God will be with this nation as we move forward. I know that we are a christian nation and God does hear and answer our prayers. We all need to be praying and seeking God's face in these trying times. We can all agree to pray for this nation.
 
Father in heaven we ask that you will be with our leaders and give them wisdom. We will humble ourselves before you and trust that you will be in control just as you always have been. At this time more than ever we are in a place where we need you. God bless America.
 
Father we thank you for all the promises you have made to us and we know that you keep your word. Be with us in all that we do and give us strength to face all that we do. Keep us focused on you and let us never forget that we have hope. Hope in the future and hope in a heaven on earth some day. We will never turn away from you and we will await your return. In the meantime we will go out into the world and witness to whoever will listen. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
 
Take heart everyone. We are never on our own and we can get through anything. It may seem dark at times but we do not walk in the dark we walk in the light. Jesus is the light. Right now the world is run by Satan but he only has a short time left. So stay strong and walk in the light.
 
I just want to say that the future may look bleak right now but take heart God is with us. He already has our future planned. If you study your Bible you know that the future is already written. Just bring your cares to him for he cares for you.

Father thank you for your blessings and let us be a blessing to others Amen.
 
I ask the Lord what he wishes me to say and the main message is for me to wittness. We all have a purpose and if I can reach out and share the gospel on a sweepstakes site then I am blessed and honored. If anyone wants to know about Jesus and who he is please ask God to show him to you. I know many people doubt the truth and the Bible but my prayer today is that you open your heart and eyes. Research for yourself and you will find the Bible is the truth. God is waiting on all who seek him.
 
I just want to remind everyone to sit with Jesus first thing every morning to start your day. Read your Bible and pray. This will get you through the day.
 
Today's Verse:
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out

I love reading scripture. When we study the words they speak to us. They get into our hearts and when we need to remember them they are there. I have been in certain situations and have had to rely on scripture to wittness to people and they just pop up and I know it is the Holy Spirit at work.

Read study and embrace God's love letters to you.
 
I was reading scripture last night and the words in due season stood out. If we are patient and we continue to do good we will receive in due season. God is an on time God and in due season we will receive our reward. There is no greater reward than being with Jesus so I eagerly await his return.
 
I have family members who are not saved so I want to encourage everyone to keep praying for them. As long as they are still alive there is still hope. So we can agree in prayer that they will hear the truth while there is still time.

Father we ask that you will save those who are lost. You made a way for all of us to be reconciled and you are the only way. Open their eyes Lord and draw them near to you. In Jesus name I pray Amen

Thank you so much for that verse today, I really needed it, It just hit the spot. It still amazes me how I can be looking for an answer and the Lord just puts it right in front of me. Praise God he is so wonderful. Thank you again for being such a great messenger of the Lord
 
tobby you are a blessing to me because I know if I am just touching one person with the words the Lord puts on my heart then I am where he wants me. And please post more because I know you also have helped me in times of struggle. God bless you sister in Christ.

Last night I had my niece spend the night with me and she is so cute. She is 8 and she loves to fix my hair. So I just want to say thank you Lord for children and how they can brighten our day. Lord I speak blessings over everyone of them. We all need to become more like children. They are so innocent and their little minds are hungry to learn. Tell your children you love them today even if they are grown and live somewhere else. Let them know how proud you are to be their parents and how proud you are of them. That's all they want, our love.
 
Another day to start fresh. Always remember that. Each day is another chance to get it right. God's blessings are starting over and we can begin all over each morning. Weeping may endure in the night time but joy comes in the morning.
