Prayer Of The Day

Psalm 106:47 (Amplified Bible)
47Deliver us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name and glory in praising You.

Let us always praise him for he is worthy. He deserves our praises amd worship because he is God.

Amen, very true.
and on another note, baaaaa baaaa, lets show them cin, we have humor, is the cat killing at my place or yours tonight?? for the record this is not meant to stir any trouble, it is only play. Just trying to show we who pray do play also.

 tobby mac you are just too funny this morning. Being Christian you have to have a sense of humor because people do tend to get bothered by the message we are preaching.

It's a simple message really just accept Christ dying on the cross for your sins and know that he is seated at the right hand of God. It shouldn't be so complicated to see the truth but some are blinded by it's simplicity. The Bible does say that every knee shall bow and every tougne shall confess that Jesus is Lord Amen.

Genesis 1
1IN THE beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth.(A)
2The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.

4And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness.(B)

5And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

6And God said, Let there be a firmament [the expanse of the sky] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters [below] from the waters [above].

7And God made the firmament [the expanse] and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so.

8And God called the firmament Heavens. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

9And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected into one place [of standing], and let the dry land appear. And it was so.

10God called the dry land Earth, and the accumulated waters He called Seas. And God saw that this was good (fitting, admirable) and He approved it.

11And God said, Let the earth put forth [tender] vegetation: plants yielding seed and fruit trees yielding fruit whose seed is in itself, each according to its kind, upon the earth. And it was so.

12The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed according to their own kinds and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable) and He approved it.

13And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.

14And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens [of God's provident care], and [to mark] seasons, days, and years,(C)

15And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth. And it was so.

16And God made the two great lights--the greater light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night. He also made the stars.

17And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth,

18To rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.

19And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly and swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly over the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.

21God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable) and He approved it.

22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the fowl multiply in the earth.

23And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

24And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creeping things, and [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds. And it was so.

25And God made the [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and domestic animals according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.

26God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.(D)

27So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.(E)

28And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

29And God said, See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.

30And to all the animals on the earth and to every bird of the air and to everything that creeps on the ground--to everything in which there is the breath of life--I have given every green plant for food. And it was so.

31And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

Genesis 2
1THUS THE heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.(A)

3And God blessed (spoke good of) the seventh day, set it apart as His own, and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all His work which He had created and done.(B)

4This is the history of the heavens and of the earth when they were created. In the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens--

5When no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not [yet] caused it to rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the ground,

6But there went up a mist (fog, vapor) from the land and watered the whole surface of the ground--

7Then the Lord God formed man from the [a]dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.(C)

8And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted).

9And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired--good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.(D)

10Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four [river] heads.

11The first is named Pishon; it is the one flowing around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

12The gold of that land is of high quality; bdellium (pearl?) and onyx stone are there.

13The second river is named Gihon; it is the one flowing around the whole land of Cush.

14The third river is named Hiddekel [the Tigris]; it is the one flowing east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.

16And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;

17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

18Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.

19And out of the ground the Lord God formed every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name.

20And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.

21And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh.

22And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man.

24Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.(E)

25And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other's presence.

Genesis 3
1NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan] said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?(A)
2And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden,

3Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

4But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,(B)

5For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.

7Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apronlike girdles.

8And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

9But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you?

10He said, I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?

12And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me--she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate.

13And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I ate.

14And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life.

15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her [a]Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.(C)

16To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your grief and your suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of childbearing; with spasms of distress you will bring forth children. Yet your desire and craving will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.

17And to Adam He said, Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat [of the fruits] of it all the days of your life.

18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field.

19In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.

20The man called his wife's name Eve [life spring], because she was the mother of all the living.

21For Adam also and for his wife the Lord God made long coats (tunics) of skins and clothed them.

22And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever--

23Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.

24So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the [c]cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life

As I read over the first three books of the Bible there is just so much to discuss. We can see how awesome God is when he created the heavens and the earth. We see all that God created. And we see when sin entered the hearts of man. One important thing we learn is that even in the begining Jesus was prophesied. When God is speaking to Adam and Eve in this verse.

15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her [a]Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.(C)

Christ would be the one to put Satan under his feet at the cross. Jesus conquered death once and for all and we can have eternal life when we accept his gift of dying one time for our sins.

I love studying the Bible and the amazing thing is no matter how many times you read a verse you will usually pick up something you didn't see the last time you read it. The words truly are life to us.

God bless.

Lord be with us as we go into a new year with new trials and tribulations. We will be tested but if we remain faithful you will see us through the other side. I put my complete trust in you and I will not walk in fear (False Evidence Appearing Real). That is what fear represents and in order for us to conquer it we have to rely on scripture. We have not been given the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Don't line in fear. Put your faith in God and allow him to live in you Amen.

JobJob 1:10 (Amplified Bible)
10Have You not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have conferred prosperity and happiness upon him in the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

He is like a hedge to protect us. He has angels all around us and the Holy Spirit to guide us. Amen

Again I would like to pray for Israel and the conflict taking place there. Lord we know the future for your people and we ask that you would make a hasty return so that your people will be back where they belong. The jews and the gentiles shall be as one grafted together. Bless your people Father and keep them safe Amen.

Take a moment to breathe this morning. Just take in everything around you and thank God for creating it all. I look up at the stars at night and I am in awe at what God has done. He placed everything in the heavens exactly where they needed to be. He created our bodies a perfect machine. Only a great God could create a perfect universe. Let's enjoy the simple things of his creation like the green grass and the clouds and the cool breeze. God is amazing.

John 14
1DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
2In My Father's house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

3And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

4And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.

5Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?

6Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

7If you had known Me [had learned to recognize Me], you would also have known My Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him.

8Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father [cause us to see the Father--that is all we ask]; then we shall be satisfied.

9Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?

10Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the ([a]His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power).

11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father's name convince you.]

12I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

13And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.(A)

14[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as [c]presenting all that I AM].

15If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever--

17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

18I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.

19Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.

20At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you.

21The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]

22Judas, not Iscariot, asked Him, Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself [make Yourself real] to us and not to the world?

23Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.

24Anyone who does not [really] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching. And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me.

25I have told you these things while I am still with you.

26But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

27Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

28You heard Me tell you, I am going away and I am coming [back] to you. If you [really] loved Me, you would have been glad, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater and mightier than I am.

29And now I have told you [this] before it occurs, so that when it does take place you may believe and have faith in and rely on Me.

30I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]

31But [[d]Satan is coming and] I do as the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know (be convinced) that I love the Father and that I do only what the Father has instructed Me to do. [I act in full agreement with His orders.] Rise, let us go away from here.
[/color=red]

He has prepared a place for us and he will be coming back so that we may be with him Amen.

I hear people say all the time that God is saying to us we are to love one another and that if God loves us so much then why does this or that happen. For me the answer is of course he is love and we are supposed to love but part of loving someone is also protecting them and correcting them because you want to keep them from harm. As a parent we love our children unconditionally but we also provide ground rules for them. Not to be cruel but to keep them from being harmed. God's love is the same. He loves us completely but he expects us to follow his rules for our well being. He can see where sin will lead so he tries to warn us before we go down a road from which there is no return. That is perfect love. Just as in the world if we sin then there are consequences for sin. Today many preachers don't teach about sin and the consequences of not following Christ. The main thing is that he does forgive us for sin but we must turn away from that sin and walk upright before him. This is hard to do and it is one of those things that we must always be near to Jesus because his spirit will guide us.

Thank you Lord for the miracle yesterday with all the survivors in the plane crash. This is a perfect example when God does great things Amen.

I pray everyone is having a blessed day and I pray that we all take time to bless others. I say this often but it is so important to be blessing others as we have been blessed. Life is about giving. Giving of ourselves and doing it from the heart not expecting anything in return.

Psalm 37:30 (Amplified Bible)
30The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks with justice.

Psalm 111:10 (Amplified Bible)
10The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of [a]Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever. [Job. 28:28; Prov. 1:7; Matt. 22:37, 38; Rev. 14:7.]

Proverbs 3:13 (Amplified Bible)
13Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God's Word and life's experiences],

Proverbs 8:23 (Amplified Bible)
23I [Wisdom] was inaugurated and ordained from everlasting, from the beginning, before ever the earth existed.(A)

James 1:5 (Amplified Bible)
5If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of [a]the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.

I wanted to post a few scriptures on wisdom and it's importance in our lives. Seek it out and you will be blessed.
