Prayer Of The Day

In trouble then, and in fear I sought
The Man who taught in Galilee;
And peace unto my soul was brought,
All my faith came back to me

Halleujah

I could not imagine my life without Jesus in it. I once was lost but now am free. Amazing grace indeed. Have a blessed day everyone. God is with us.

Unless we form the habit of going to the Bible in bright moments as well as in trouble, we cannot fully respond to its consolations because we lack equilibrium between light and darkness. -- Helen Keller

Have a Blessed weekend !!

Happy Father's day to all the dad's out there and I pray that you seek the wisdom of God to lead you. Speak blessings on your children and be the head of your household. God bless you dads.

My prayers go out to those who suffered yesterday in that terrible train collission. I pray they be comforted in their grief. We never know when our lives can change. Just that fast. We are here for a reason and only God can be the center of our lives. He and he alone will see us through any tragedy. Praise his name in the good times and in the bad. He is in control and he is on the throne Amen.

What a great time to be a Christian and to be alive. I can sense the excitement of our Lord's soon return. There may be turbulance all around us but if we know where we are headed then we have peace Amen.

The Prayer Of The Chalice
Francis Nuttall

Father, to Thee I raise my whole being,
a vessel emptied of self. Accept Lord,
this my emptiness, and so fill me with
Thyself - Thy Light, Thy Love, Thy
Life - that these, Thy precious Gifts
may radiate through me and overflow
the chalice of my heart into
the hearts of all with whom I
come in contact this day
revealing unto them
the beauty of
Thy Joy
and
Wholeness
and
the
serenity
of Thy Peace
which nothing can destroy

Have a great day !

Thank you Johnee for all the great prayers. They have been a huge blessing to me and words of encouragement.

How many men and women know the wisdom that is revealed in the Bible and rely on it to be their strength. Just like those of us who read this thread each day we know the value of God's word. We read and study it and we meditate on it. We could not survive without it. Let the word fill you up and be on your heart. It will be your strength Amen.

When you were born, you cried
and the world rejoiced.
Live your life
so that when you die,
the world cries and you rejoice

Have a Blessed day !!

Please everyone send up a prayer for my only child, My Son to be with God. I miss Him and he left this earth. Our love is not gone just long distance now. He left with suicide and this concerns me. I pray daily that God forgives his last big booboo. Also my only friend took a really bad fall and she needs prayer for recovery. I am reading everyones request now and sending prayers up for all. Through tears I hope I am making sense. Amen

Bless your heart  I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know God loves us all so much and we don't know his mind so he will get us through whatever we face. I lift you up before a loving father so that he will wrap his arms around you and give you peace. I will also say prayers for your best friend's recovery. If you need any comfort and prayer or just need to vent I am here.

God bless you

I can't imagine how hard this is for you. I will stand with you concerning your son and just trust that God is going to give you an answer concerning your son.

me and my husband both send love and prayers to you and your son. God is a forgiving God and has more love than any of us can even imagine, so I am sure it is possible for your son to be forgiven and he can be with God and not have more pain. You will stay in my prayers and if ever you want to talk or anything I can do please feel free to pm me. In Gods love.

This life can be so hard at times but always hang on to your faith. God will see us through the other side of heartache and pain and he has a plan for our lives. He will wipe away all our tears someday and he has given us his Holy Spirit and his word so that we have him near us at all times. Let us comfort one another with his love Amen.

Hebrews 13
1LET LOVE for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you [never let it fail].
2Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood--being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it.(A)

3Remember those who are in prison as if you were their fellow prisoner, and those who are ill-treated, since you also are liable to bodily sufferings.

4Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept undishonored); for God will judge and punish the unchaste [all guilty of sexual vice] and adulterous.

5Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor [c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down ([f]relax My hold on you)! [[g]Assuredly not!](B)

6So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?(C)

7Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well-spent lives) and imitate their faith ([h]their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

8Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

9Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (God's favor and spiritual blessing) and not [to be devoted to] foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no [spiritual] benefit or profit to those who observe them.

10We have an altar from which those who serve and [j]worship in the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11For when the blood of animals is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin, the victims' bodies are burned outside the limits of the camp.(D)

12Therefore Jesus also suffered and died outside the [city's] gate in order that He might purify and consecrate the people through [the shedding of] His own blood and set them apart as holy [for God].

13Let us then go forth [from all that would prevent us] to Him outside the camp [at Calvary], bearing the contempt and abuse and shame with Him.(E)

14For here we have no permanent city, but we are looking for the one which is to come.

15Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.(F)

16Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church [k]as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

17Obey your spiritual leaders and submit to them [continually recognizing their authority over you], for they are constantly keeping watch over your souls and guarding your spiritual welfare, as men who will have to render an account [of their trust]. [Do your part to] let them do this with gladness and not with sighing and groaning, for that would not be profitable to you [either].

18Keep praying for us, for we are convinced that we have a good (clear) conscience, that we want to walk uprightly and live a noble life, acting honorably and in complete honesty in all things.

19And I beg of you [to pray for us] the more earnestly, in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),(G)

21Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).

22I call on you, brethren, to listen patiently and bear with this message of exhortation and admonition and encouragement, for I have written to you briefly.

23Notice that our brother Timothy has been released [from prison]. If he comes here soon, I will see you along with him.

24Give our greetings to all of your spiritual leaders and to all of the saints (God's consecrated believers). The Italian Christians send you their greetings [also].

25Grace (God's favor and spiritual blessing) be with you all. Amen (so be it).
