Prayer Of The Day

I was thinking how we are never really satisfied. We are constantly searching for something to fill that space. Some people find comfort in worldly things like drugs food alcohol shoping. The list goes on but we must find the answers with Jesus. He can fill that empty space. Search out Jesus and it's a lasting comfort.
 
We are no longer in the darkness when we know Christ. He is light and we are now no longer lost in a lost and dying world. Praise God for the light.

I want to say a prayer for SA. I know the owners work very hard to keep this site top notch and I know we are all blessed because of it. Lord bless this venture that Ken and Diane are providing for sweepers and help it prosper. This site can be a way to reach out to many people and share sweepstakes. It has also been a means of making online friends and just being able to socialize. If it provides services that help others then it's a good thing. Father I pray that this will be a prosperous year in Jesus name I pray Amen.
 
Praying for the family of a young man who died of a drug overdose yesterday. A life lost too soon. Lord it hurts my heart to think of how awful this is. I pray that something good might come from this loss. Perhaps one of his friends may realize the harm drugs can do to so many. RIP Chris.
 
Today is going to be a good day. Things are looking up for this country. I can just feel it. We are still a Christian nation. Praise God
 
It's not always easy to have a positive attitude just because that's our human nature. When I am feeling down or negative about my life or others I just try and focus on anything but what is bothering me. Just stop feelin sorry for yourself and find a way to pick yourself up. I choose Christ to do this.
 
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. -Corinthians 13:6-8
 
When the world around you seems to be caught up in drama and you feel overwhelmed just remember sometimes we are the ones who create that drama. Examine yourself and then repent. God forgives us our sins and he died for those sins so try not to crucify him continually.
 
Galatians 5:22 (Amplified Bible)22But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, I'm constantly working on doing all of these.
 
I think back to all the times in my life when I made some very unwise decissions and how thank God he was with me. I could have been really hurt by my poor choices or even dead. He has always been with me and like a loving Father he allowed me to make mistakes but he never left me alone.
 
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Luke 12:27-28

This is so simple to understand and yet why is it that we just can't let go of our worries. God wants us to put our faith in him for all that we need. Just try it and see what marvelous things he does for us.
 
Judge not lest ye be judged.


I have thought about this so many times. Are we not all guilty at some point in our lives of judging others? Do we not all cast that stone knowing full well we are with sin? We all need to realize Jesus knows we are all sinful and he wants us to turn from that sin. So let's keep this in mind the next time we put ourselves in God's position. He is the only righteous judge and we are not in a position to condem another human being.
