I opened up my email today to find an affidavit for $1000.00 to the Apple store. Got excited. Then another email popped in that said please disregard the previous email. That was disappointing...

I bet someone is probably trying to CYA in a hurry if they did it backwards, and sent out the winning email instead of the "TY for entering our promo, sorry you did not win" email to all the entrants!!!

It was for the Belkin Facebook game.
I did win on that on an instant win several weeks ago, but the grand prize was the 1000.00 Apple card, which I was excited to get the affy for, then let down quickly with the second email. I agree with you, if I had not caught the second email and had completed the affy, gotten in notarized and all that... I would hate to be that person who made the mistake getting more than on affidavit back and having to deal with it then.
Ultimately, I have won from them in that sweep and was and still am happy about that.

I won $500.00 in Belkin Bucks tonight. Not really sure exactly what that is, but I hopeful it's something good.
Yeah, the affy kerfuffle is not as good as getting the GP too, but as you say, you WON {YAY!!!}, and that beats out a bunch of us - I know I sure was glad when it ended - I think I only got 4 or 5 GP entries out of all those spins, lol
